Really varied place, plenty of bars for lively youngsters, and oldies! loads of places to eat out, and pretty walks along the coast, dotted with little restaurants, if you fancy a quieter time.

If you are a beach lover then Puerto Rico is excellent. Commercial Centre is loud, brash, tacky and awful shops but some good restaurants. The restaurant touts not as bad as we experienced before. We actually had good banter with some of them this time.

Just returned from 2 weeks in El Greco. Absolutely brilliant apartments. Best location in Puerto Rico. Cleaning faultless. Friendly English speaking staff. Only one complaint - no air conditioning - and as it was very hot found it difficult to sleep at...
