Marina Suites Reviews

This is our second visit to the Marina suites and I thought things couldn't get any better since then, but indeed they have. The hotel has an excellent location overlooking the marina and the bay which you can see an excellent sun set every evening. It's very peacefull and tranquil to watch over a glass of vino. The rooms are very spacious and in a 2 week stay the maids came every day but 1. There is a basic kitchen but hey, who wants to be tied to it on holiday! All of the staff are extremely friendly, beautifully presented and very helpfull. They have just opened a new resaurant 3 nights of the week and we were fortunate enought to win a prize of a romantic meal for 2. Unfortunately the annimation team didn't say it was a fixed 3 course meal and when we booked in the main course was fish which my partner doesn't like. Just as we thought we would have to leave, a very helpfull young lady called Sabrina sorted it all out and he had steak instead. We didn't want to take the pee so decided we would share a starter, have steaks and no dessert - but that was not good enough for the chef. They gave us full works and a selection of desserts to boot. We felt obliged to leave a large tip - which they were very gratefull for - but even had we paid full price the tip would have been same. The food was absolutely beautiful and excellently presented. 10 out of 10. Every 2/3 nights the hotel docks at a different location and you can try local food and experience traditional dancing and music. This takes place at pool bar and is buffet style. During our stay, we docked at Mexico, China, USA, Ibiza to name a few. Drinks can be a little pricey at the hotel if you don;t hit happy hour, but there are loads of places outside and in town centre where happy hour is all night and loads of bars have 2 for 1 offers. If I had to find criticism, it would be that the sunbeds were reserved by towels from an early hour and some guests not turning up to use them until mid afternoon. Also, the jacuzzi cleaning system didn't seem to work quick enough and at times it seemed like sitting in a warm soapy bath and the bubbles make a scum mark around the edges. I know it's a silly thing as umpteen people get in covered with oils and creams etc, but when you get out you need a shower...

We have just got back from the Marina Suites and all thought it was great, the rooms are big and spacious, cleaned daily with fresh sheets, the pool area was lovely, felt like you was swimming in the sea, but had to be quick with the sunbeds, in an ideal location, we was overlooking the marina, and was quiet on an evening, myself and my husband would go back again, but on check out day, people was whingeing that the courtesy room was a disaster, with so many people going home, but what we did was in the toilets by the pool, there is a shower area, so we all got ready in there, no hassle at all, had a fab week, and the weather was red hot daily, only got back today, would recommend this accomodation without a doubt. Go to Marina Suites! You won't regret it. The nicest I have ever stayed in.

Extremely clean - maid service every day if you want. Huge bedrooms, kitchen/living room, spacious balcony, big bathroom, modern Lovely pool.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed with these apartments.

Really enjoyed our holiday at marina suites. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking pool and really nice view. We were self catering so didnt eat at hotel so cant really comment but plenty of places to eat out. Have been to puerto rico twice and would definately return to marina suites. Very clean, spacious accomodation.

What a fantastic place the Marina Suites are. The best there is in Puerto Rico. There was no faults with the Hotel. The food at the Hotel was nice. Staff was lovely, very helpful and really clean.

Don't go on the Anfi tour but make sure you go to Anfi beache, about 3euros in a taxi.

The best English breackfast was Fat Cats. Down near Puerto Rico beache. Oscars was a lovely place to eat in the evening.

The main town where all the bars are was very friendly, Linkers as a excellent atmosphere and really nice staff. Plenty of nice places to eat. You get a lot of people calling you in to bars and resturants but if you tell them no, they don't bother you.

Overall we had a top holiday and could not fault anything... Would definatley go back but would only stay at the Marina Suites.
