Ibiza is truly an island with a diverse range of resorts. If you think it's only about clubbing and partying till dawn then you really do need to visit the "Island of Pines". Resorts nestled in some of the most spectacular and fragrant scenery fringed by white and sandy beaches to die for. Ibiza blends the cosmopolatin with the picturesque in a way that will seduce both the young and old.

Very quiet, nice place to relax in. Nice bars some live entertainment, pleasant beach Ferry goes every hour to nearby resorts including Ibiza old town, local buses are cheap and reliable.

Cala Gracio review
"quiet and peacefull location"
resort to a friend
Cala Gracio is on the outskirts of San Antonio bay and is very quiet. Apart from the hotel and a small shop and bar there is nothing to do there. It does have a steep access to a beautiful beach cove but that is it. The benefit of staying there is that it is only a 10 minute walk into San Antonio, either taking the road or the beautiful coastal pathgiving yoy the luxury of the hustle and bustle but also a short distance to walk for peace. The pavements are not that well maintained either so it was somewhat difficult with the babies buggy.

Shopping area can become dirty and untidy with litter but I spend my time on beach and in hotel area.

Puerto San Miguel is a lovely little cove, we were there out of season and was not up and running as such so cannot comment on one of the above. It is a safe and very clean little resort.

As said previously the problem was the time of year. There is absolutely nothing to do in ibiza after the first week in October.

Because we had our holiday at the end of the season there wasnt much open, and all water sports had finished. But i have been there more in the height of the season and it is fantastic for both. we have NEVER seen any trouble as has been on the tv in the past. The kids loved the sea and it was so clean. there is a path that you can walk along on the sea front into san antonio, which we walked along regular.

Portinatx is a quiet resort with beautiful beaches which would suit families or couples looking for a quieter holiday.There are a few small shops and bars but not really much else.It is very safe for older children to wander around without worrying about them,we love it here and will be back.

Clean and tidy. Smallish beach. Nice promenade to walk around. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Hippy market 15 mins walk with additional beach just past hippy market. Good bus link to Santa Eularlia. Watch out for slippery pavements.

Very quiet resort with excellent beaches. Shallow water was very child friendly but watch out for the jelly fish! Selection of small supermarkets and restaurants with great views of the bays.

We didnt venture out for nightlife and eating as we were all inclusive and with our children. The beach was clean and looked after. The sea was clear and warm and great for our youngest to wade out and play as very shallow for a long distance.

Beaches within walking distance but no nightlife within walking distance so were left with Hotel entertainment which is aimed at young families
