Pueblo Esparragos Apartments Reviews

A beautiful traditional spanish style pueblo that benefits from having been established for and well run for many years. The well established and mature gardens are beautiful and pool areas are unrivalled with spectacular views. Accomodation is always clean and comfortable.

All ages enjoy this lovely pueblo despite the steps. It's simply worth it for it's position. Everything is easily accesible from the beach to the varied shops and bars.

In general it just seems to be that lottlebit a cut above other places and can be thoroughly recommended. A good holiday is guaranteed.

We had the most relaxing holiday with our young family, the reason being that we met other families and playmates for our children, which kept us all happy and amused. The Pueblo Esparragos does have a lot of steps to climb, or a fairly steep hill from the village of Cala Llonga, but most of us treated it as a keep fit exercise. Both pools have separate childrens pools which was great, the pool side bars serve really nice food and the village has a variety of restaurants for any taste. The sun beds are free. Pims Holidays, the agents we booked our holiday through, are really helpful at all times and have a 24 hour emergency number which we found very comforting. We rented a cot and a highchair from them at very good rates. We'll definitely be going back.

Mr friends and I come back year after year to the Pueblo Esparragos. We always come about the same time which means we often meet up with others whom we've met in previous years. We know all the Wild Asparagus Restaurant staff who treat us like long lost family on our first day, as do several of the restaurnat and bar owners in the village of Cala Llonga. The Pueblo is a cosy place to stay.

Some of the apartments are not up to modern standard, but all are clean and have everything needed for a self catering holiday. We have stayed in different ones each time. Most of them have fab views over the beach, but a couple we stayed in were half blocked by the building in front and once by a tree. We love going in September because all the noisy school children have gone and we have the pool almost to ourselves and of course we have excellent service from the pool bar (Mariposa) staff. We looooooooove their food. We did complain about the state of the pool structure, dirty edges and cracked pool side tiles, but that is apparently being sorted this winter.

Mostly we like lying around the pool, going out at night, especially to the Wild Asparagus on a Thursday night when they have flamenco dancing which turns into a free for all. Pims Holidays are really helpful with every part of the holiday from the initial booking until departure.

This is our 4th year running coming to the Pueblo Esparragos in September.
The apartments are old but comfortable and with wonderfull views of the Cala Llonga bay. Each time we come we get a different apartment and some are better than others and more fully equipped, but for us we're not fussy, we just love the place.

September is the best time to come; peaceful, quiet, relaxing around the pool with our books, plenty of beds for sunbathing, without feeling like sardines, quick service from happy, relaxed, staff relieved that hectic August was out of the way.
The weather was superb, the odd fantastic storm and some rain, but warm.
The beach was empty and the swimming glorious, but we had to watch out for the jelly fish.

We love the Asparagos restaurant, especially on Thursday evenings when Laura dances her flamenco folk dancing. the evening always ends up a party until the early hours.

The ladies in the Pims office are very friendly and always ready to help with advice on anything, a mine of information.

We hope we'll be going back for many more years for our annual girlie holiday.
