Luxmar Apartments Reviews

The apartments were more than adequate, nice balconies, working Air-con, tv's and very small kitchenettes, the 3rd bed was just as comfy as the other 2, lovely showers and very clean. We requested adjoining rooms and got them after 2 days! The reception staff were a bit slow on problems being sorted and we also had money stolen from the room by hotel staff, but lockers are available. We had a lovely pool view, but also could see the sea a bit. It was full of Spanish and Italian young lads, who came in at all hours, but so did we.

Across the road was the sea, but you had to walk 5 mins to get to it - a couple of lovely small beaches, with restaurants and a picturesque promenade.

You can go left to Ibiza town on a lovely dirt track coming out at the old town walls which we did a few times (10 mins), but on the last day we were recommended not to walk that way as muggings do occur.
Monroe's -a gay bar run by David from Birmingham had the best cocktails we tasted on the Island and a friendly atmosphere - just 2mins walk from the hotel.
Pacha by taxi was only a few euros, and space and bora bora a few euros the other way.

We hired a jeep and went to Benirras beach - absolutely stunning, but by bus - Salinas beach was also lovely.
San Antonio Bay was worth visiting for a moving sunset-Cafe Mambo and Del Mar.
The hippy market by boat, from the local beach, was a good day out.

As a group of 5, 30 something girls, wanting good evening bars, clubs, beaches and culture it passed with flying colours, both the resort and apartments.
