The Hotel was excellent very clean and the food was faultless. Too many Germans in the Hotel, all the childrens entertainment was geared towards the Germans but on an evening they did try to entertain the adults even though it was all mimed in english. We...

The resort of playa den bossa to my surprise was mainly filled with groups of girls and boys and not very family orientated. Although there is a small fun fair in the middle of the resort, there were not many family bars it all seemed to be aimed at single people as the hotel is very close to Space night club. The price of drinks etc were more than i have paid anywhere else in Spain. We did however visit old Ibiza town which was lovely, the bus stop runs right out side the hotel and is very cheap . After spending a week in Playa Den Bossa, I would not visit this resort again.

The hotel don toni was spotless, reception staff very helpfull and rooms were very nice. The pool was lovely at the hotel, but you are unable to have sunloungers or deck chairs around it, which i think was pointless!! i only saw 3 people use the pool in the...

There is not many family bars in Playa den Bossa except Big Bens, Sports Bar, Murphys Irish Bar and unos, which is basically a supermarket with tables, chairs and pool tables outside. All other bars are aimed at 18-30s playing rave music. Drugs are on offer at most of these bars as well as from the "lucky lucky" men. There are some nice places to eat especially Oasis & Sports Bar and a few good spanish restaurants The beach is dirty and full of broken beer bottles and plastic cups, and if you walk on it first thing in a morning there are still people drinking from the night before. Very disapointed with both the resort & apartments and especially disapointed with Thomson Skytours. WILL DEFINATLEY NOT GOING BACK

We preferred to stay in the hotel as there was always something to do but we did walk along the main street to Playa Den Bossa. There isn't really anything to see or do one or two good shops for souvenirs but it wasn't a place for families to be walking at night (Only go in daylight hours, poor lighting and some dodgy characters).

Overall
Spent 2 weeks at the Hotel Bahamas with our two children (14 and 8 year old) in August 2008. Excellent food for older children and adults not much choice for children under 6, spacious pool where your children can play with lilos, Hotel is next to the beach...
