Portinax is a very picturesque resort. The Beaches are very clean and the sea is lovely to swim in. We hired a Pedalo out which cost 15 Euros for 1 hour. To hire a Sun Lounger and a Parasol it cost's 4.50 Euro's each for the day. The resort has some nice restaurants/ places to sit and look out over the Sea and people watch. It is very relaxing of a night. If you are looking for somewhere with alot of night life then this is not the place to go. But if you want somewhere that is nowhere as busy as San Antonio then this could be for you. There is a small kiddies playground above the beach which my daughter loved and dragged us to every night! We took the Glass Bottom Boat out for 1 hour which cost 10 Euro's for an adult and 5 Euro's for my daughter. You can see a Ship Wreck and feed the fish . We would go back to Portinax as we felt it was a nice place to chill out and unwind.

Few shops there but not much to do. Lovely sandy beaches but sunbeds and parasoles were 4 euros each.

It is a quiet resort, couple of shops, couple of restaurants & bars, and all the essentials for family life. The beach is very good and there is a water park.

Portinatx is a lovely resort. It isn’t too big, the beach is lovely and it is peaceful and relaxing at night. There is a good mix of nationalities there, some good restaurants and some good shops. We would go back.

The beaches are beautiful and Portinax itself is just a beautiful place in general ! Lots of lovely little places to eat which arent thec hceapest but the views whilst your eating of having a drink are well worht it !

We went to at wee place called Portinax, this is a lovely quite resort, there is not much there at all, If you stay at the Elgreco hotel you only have to go down a couple of flights of stairs and you are right on the beach, You also get access to the elgreco water park which is good for the kids. My 7 year old loved the elgreco and the water park. I also have a 2 year old she was to young to join kids club and the water park and hotel dont really cater for under 2s?

This resort is too quiet even for the older generation such as me ( male 52 ). Ther is not enough places to eat OR drink if you are self catering. Limited restaurants and bars ( only english bar was Delboys ) Two small beaches ( one of which is like a sandpit ). We wouldnt go back to Portinaxt , but this is only our opinion.

Portinatx is a nice little resort, lovely beach and quite quiet. There are a few good bars and shops though, but generally very laid back. We have been before and we would go again.

Couldn't find anything to do apart from stay in hotel and enjoy the mini disco! Not really a place to go if you want a selection of shops and bars and restaurants to enjoy.

The resort itself is lovely. Quite small but very beautiful with lovely beaches and warm ,clear and shallow water's. Some nice bar's and eateries nearby which are reasonably priced. We have been early May and mid September to the resort and weather was great both times. Perfect for families or older couples. Would not recommend to young couples or singles wanting lots of action.

best place ever. Had fantastic holiday thanks to all at Boozy Buys and Jardin del Mar. Delboys and vincents good for night entertaiment. But Boozy Buys is best place to get decent drink at really cheap prices. Have some there before they close and then go enjoy the entertainment at the others.

Great resort if you are not all inclusive. Plenty places to eat well, especially Jardin del Mar with the crazy golf. Boozy Buys also a great place for all drinks and money exchange. We'll be back but to a different accomodation

if you want a relaxing holiday go to el greco,the water park is fab for the all ages and beach is on your door step.we all crnt wait to return
