The hotel was basic and for what we paid it was good enough, it could have been a lot worse! It was clean and the maids came nearly every day which is good. There's a sink, fridge, cutlery and table and chairs, simple enough for self-catering. There is a pool, quite small with a few sunbeds - didn't sit round it and it wasn't in the hotel complex - we decided to sit on beach instead. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

Great lads holiday, booked it independently and was pretty cheap. Flights from Monarch, then just a tenner each per night for the apartment. It was pretty good location, stumbling distance from the west end. Pretty near Cafe del Mar too.

This apartment block was the worst place I have ever stayed. The first apartment we were given had two sinks in the bathroom but neither were attached to the wall but both in the middle of the bathroom floor. After complaining, we were given another room which had damp on the bathroom ceiling to the extent that while taking a shower I was getting cold drips from where the person in the apartment upstairs was also taking a shower which was leaking into our bathroom.The apartment smelt very strongly of stale water. The apartment we were in had no balcony and the view out of our window was a fire escape which was used to dispose of rubbish right outside our window. Every surface in the apartment was dirty and sticky, the only thing that was clean was the beds. Thank God for small mercies.
