Overall Hotel Rating:
As my ratings show this is a good place to stay it is comfortable has a bar and servrs nice food the pool it across the road from the hotel and is a good area for sitting during the day.It has a good location about 10 mins from the maddness but far enough if you want to chill. The hotel itself is a good no frills place to stay.

"Hostel Norte"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Was good value for money, very small though and the rooms were small too. Not ideal if more than 2 person sharing! It was a good location though a 10min walk from the west end, the food was great homemade chips and other nice snacks! the pool was nice and small and quiet which was good! You had to be quick to get a sunbed though in the mornin as it got full pretty fast. Staff were pleasant enough, maids could have been in a bit more as we sometimes had to leave dirty things outside the room lol, but overall made our stay a good one would reccomended to try out as it was cheap and cheerful!

Overall Hotel Rating:
this was my first time in ibiza and i absolutely LOVED it!! so much so that ive already booked for next year and plan to move there!
the hostel norte is just behind the west end, about a 5-10 minute walk away, altho if ur like me it takes about half an hour as we got lost every single time, all the streets look exactly the same so its easy to get lost. try and look out for landmarks or like familiar shops on ur first few days, thats what we had to do.
the hotel itself is quite small, only 2 floors to it. our room was absolutely tiny and had no balcony which was really disappointing, there was sort of a communal "balcony" basically an area in between a load of rooms so we never went in it coz u were lookin rite into peoples rooms. the rooms are really basic - 2 beds, a chair and a table. the bathroom is alrite, half a bath type thing with a decent shower. 2 mirrors in total which was good as we didnt fight over who needed in the mirror!
before we went we had read lots of reviews about the hotel saying that the staff were really friendly so we were expecting good things but we were really disappointed as when we got there the reception guy just took our passports and handed us a key and pointing in the general direction of the stairs. that night i went down to get ice and they were a bit funny about giving us it but as the days went on and i asked for more ice and cups we got a bit of banter wif the staff and they were a bit nicer and friendlier.
we didnt make breakfast once so we cant comment on that but we did eat from the restaurant which was quite nice.
the pool is across the road which isnt as bad as it sounds, its quite a big pool but we found that the sun loungers go pretty quick, altho i suppose we didnt really get down before 12 any day.
the hotel is quite quiet altho if someone is playing music (such as ourselves) u can hear it thru the day, altho every1 was really respectful during the nite. altho we generally slept during the day which wasnt so good as u can hear every1 in there rooms - also a word of advice - if ur havin an arguement with someone keep ur voices down as everyone can hear EVERYTHING.
as for ibiza nightlife - AMAZIN! every night we would go to the west end and just stagger about talking to people, and also going to kilties the scottish bar, loved it. we obv went to the big clubs aswell but only went into ibiza town twice to go to cream at amnesia and priveledge. really worth it, i wud defo advise going into ibiza town at least once.
all in all, an amazin holiday, even tho our hotel wasnt the best it didnt ruin the holiday as we really didnt spend much time there, i wud defo advise u to come here!!
i'll see u all in 2008 ;)

This is the first time we have stayed in a pension (1 star hotel).I must admit we were quite surprised it was very comfortable and very clean. the pension is situated a few street back from the main drag and nightlife. The snack bar in the Norte serve some very good value for money meals (homemade chips). There is a large swimming pool with plenty sunbeds,no need to get up early to put your towels down.
The staff were very friendly and helpful we would certainly stay at the Norte again it is excellent value for money all round.

Hostel Norte is down some back street and we got lost a few times as the roads all look the same! It was very noisy as there is dustbin trucks, delivery lorries and scooters screaching past at all hours.
The Accomodation was very basic but we didn't pay much anyway. The rooms are tiny so don't go here if 3 of you plan on sharing a room. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels provided, although they were only hand towels so take your own.
Breakfast consisted of toasted baguettes, croissants, cakes, tea or coffee and butter and jam. Very nice to fill your stomach after a night of clubbing! The pool was across the road and was a good size with plenty of sun loungers, no music though which gave it no atmosphere. Head down to the beach and grab a sunlounger outside Orange Corner or Bar M. Great music and great food.
I love Ibiza and the people who go there. It's not just drunken louts, there are couples, families, young, old. Come and see yourself!
