"Beware!!!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The Marco Polo is ideally located behind Eden and Es Paradis and perfect location for the nightlife, and the West End is less than a 10minute walk away. You are ideally located for the beach (about 5 minute walk if that) and perfect location for restaurants and take aways. The location really is wicked, and you are in the heart of everything. Transfer time to the airport was about 50minutes but that was with a shared shuttle (we was first drop though).
Can't comment on food as didn't purchase anything from the hotel, did walk through the restaurant however and it's pretty basic but looked clean.
With regards to the rooms they are basic and clean. We had a TV in the room, and Air con, however for both you had to ask at reception for the remotes. Bathroom was clean, and so were the beds, and the maid come in every day to see if we wanted the room cleaned, and beds changed. The TV was advertised as having English channels, however it didn't so on the one night we was to hungover to go out we had to watch spanish tv all night...great!!!
The pool is nice and clean, not enough sun loungers though and it is surrounded by trees, so get there pretty early to get a decent lounger.
My only main complaint is that when we arrived the hotel did not have our booking to start with, the receptionist was really rude and not very helpful at all. When he did manage to find my booking, we was then put in Marco Polo 2 which was disgusting, I had read the bad reviews online and it really is worse than what is described!!! I called the booking agent and complained, and ended up going to reception myself and getting moved to the Marco Polo 1, which compared to the sister hotel is a god send!
If you are looking for just a place to crash and get changed then this hotel is perfect for you, if however you are looking to spend more time in the hotel then I would pay extra and stay elsewhere. Do not however book Marco Polo 2, pay the extra and stay in the number 1 or somewhere else!!!

"DONT GO HERE ******"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We came to Ibiza for a 4 night trip sept 17th -22nd sept!
Arriving at the hotel and checking in was easy, staff those very un-friendly and rude! anyway the room was big (112) and had a massive balcony and pool view! We were with two friends and they were in another room (111) this room had no safe, staff didnt even offer them a safe!! so guess what, they got broken into one night... money, personal items stolen!! it was a real downer, as the hotel was great for our short break!!! Location is great next to eden/ es paradis - short walk to shops/ restaurants then the main area - WEST END!!!
Overall IBIZA/ San Antonio is amazing and made up for the bad service/ break in at the hotel! but if your looking for cheap accomodation, good loaction then here is the place!
all i say is get a safe or well keep everything on you!! losing money can really mess your holiday up -(
"RUDE STAFF!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Well this hotel is perfect for people going out all night and staying in all day. Our room was adjacent to the night club Eden and Es Paradis so the noise from them can be heard all night. Luckily thats what we went out for.
After reading reviews i was a bit wary about this hotel and my fears were confirmed when we arrived to find our room had no safe. So of course our room was broken in to. It seemed strange that this happened the first night we handed our key into reception (we previoulsy took it out with us) When told the reception staff they were so rude and unhelpful, they accussed us of lying cos we had had a drink. I wasn't bothered about the money they stole it was the jewellery that cannot be replaced. It didn't help that our balcony was facing a side street.
Despite this hiccup the hotel is a nice location for those who want to be near the bars, the pool area is small but does the trick as we found the beach a bit grubby. The hotel bar was open although the staff were strange, they confiscated a bottle of coke we got from the supermarket. the resutraunt was not open at this time of year (it may have been for breakfast) but with restuarants everywhere it didn't matter!!

"marco polo hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
this hotel is right in the centre, behind eden and es paradis niteclub which is fab, there is hardly any noise from the clubs tho. the room was nice, basic with a pool view ,the pool was fab too. the only let down with this hotel was the reception staff, they were very rude, not at all helpfull....we had no clean towels at least 3 days in a row,and the water would just turn off which happened 3 times during the week so couldnt use the loo or hav a shower for at least 2 hours, there was no explanation for this at all...over all tho the hotel is great if you want to be near the beach and clubs
