overall the resort is good with more than enough places to eat and drink however you need to be careful whe changing your english currency to euro as you don't always get what it states on the boards outside exchange shops.

Playa Blanca is a nice resort, we have become really familiar faces I think after so many visits! The beach is really nice, at this time of year (late Feb/Mar) it really is nice weather, lovely and sunny.

The beach was lovely golden sand, ideal for making sandcastles. There was a distinct lack of sunbeds to hire on all but the main part of the beach, which was a pain. The shops were good but pricey, designer styles but worth a look as the sales were on. The harbour was pretty and the market good for jewellery and knick knacks to take home. We have been to Gran Canaria and Fuerta Ventura and this beach is probably the nicest.

Playa Blanca has a lot of things to see, you can sit and watch the world go by having a drink from one of the many bars, go shopping, swim jump on the ferry to the other Island

Great weather...23 to 26 degrees in mid Jan, very clean, loads of shops and bats, cheap, nice people, small and compact.

We enjoyed Costa Teguise. The weather was slightly hotter than anticipated, but the sea is a bit cold! Plenty of bars and restaurants around the resort, really nice for a relaxing winter break.

Despite some peoples opinion we thought it not as 'brit down market' as expected. A good variety of restaurants at prices varying from Ok to expensive. The Old Town offers better atmosphere and variety. Try Bodega Las Tapas. Beaches kept very clean and the town gave us a safe feeling. Not for those seeking a wild nightlife.

Puerto Del Carmen is really suitable for everyone, adults and children, we went as a couple and the fact that we love to walk and we were right on the beach was also a bonus, you can hire out little pedal boats which we really enjoyed, and you can also hire bikes, there are a lot of boat trips and things to do and I really enjoyed the Sunday market in Teguise for only 4 euros!! You have to be careful though if you get the public bus to the market, the last bus back is at 1.30pm and once the bus is full, that's it and a taxi back would be quite expensive, its cheaper to go on a tour anyway and there are loads of bargains to get!!

Definately for the Blue rinse brigade being that it is the flat part of the island. So guys dont forget to pack the safari shorts and your white socks and sandals!!!

We stayed in Costa Teguise it was very clean and the beaches were great for kids, plenty of places to eat out but you should shop around. Some were very expensive and the food was average . The best places we found which were also good value were a Chinese called Tiamamen and an italian called Alessios. We had been to Lanzarote before and did the usual tours of the Volcano , markets and El Rancho de Texas so did not repeat them this time . They are worth the effort if you haven't done it before. What we did do for the first time was the Submarine trip. Expensive but I felt it was one of the highlights of my holiday.

Matagorda is a very pretty and relaxing place to holiday and has a huge very long beach that you can visit and lie on when it is a hot day. I was here a few times and came home with a lovely enviable tan! The cost of food and drink in Matagorda is quite reasonable and i wouldeat out here quite a lot. There is a pizza place that you can get a taxi too called Incognito and the food is really gorgeous and the staff are veyr friendly and helpful. The sun always seems to be shining in Matagorda, even in January so i think this is the perfect time to book your holiday here and come for a break. I am sure that you will have a wonderful time just like i did. Enjoy!

The beach in the main part of the resort whilst small was gently shelving and had lifeguards in attendance all day. Plenty of shops and restaurants but you definitely know about it when the bill arrives.

Hiring a car is a necessity to get out and about around the rest of the island unless you are happy to sit on the beach or have a better hotel than First Choices holiday village

We were looking for a resort with a lovely safe and sandy beach and we certainly got it. The sea stayed shallow for a fair way out and it was not busy so the children had plenty of space. We tried a few of the bars along the promenade for a quick drink which were fine. We didn't eat out as were on an all inclusive trip but were told by others of a few lovely restaurants they had found in the square.

costa tequise is a beautiful island.the beaches are fantastic.realy kept clean and tidy.you can go on a boat ride to fuerteventura(a bit costly tho),but well worth a visit.there is a lot of choice for place to eat and drink.(a lot of chinese restaurants tho),but we went in the "SLOW BOAT" a couple of times and that was cheaply priced and nice.all in all,i love costa tequise,ive been 3 times to this resort,and will certainly be returning.the GALEON PLAYER is a nice place to stop.everything you would need is right there by you.
