2 weeks was too long here, 7 days would have been enough. everything was expensive and the food to buy in the shops i.e) bread/weetabix/milk/chocolate was Way over priced. only 2 restaurants i can recommend - cafe royal & the black bull texas ranch was a good day out seeing all the animals and good value at 18 euros for entrance and bus there and back and lively lady's drag show night was a good laugh. all in all it was an ok resort but i will not be returning

Excellent resort for relaxation and not far from a variety of excursions. Everything seems to be very easily accessable.

if you wanna party then here a no no but its so relaxed and very warm with the island breeze!!worth using local buses as very cheap!!

Very quiet resort but perfect for the kids, found a pub called LIGHTHOUSE which was expensive but money well spent, also found bar's called STEPTOES, THE BLACK BULL, RYANS BAR, CUTTY SARK and CHEERS BAR which where pretty lively pubs for families

Good resort with a wide range of Bars Restaurants and Shops,if you want to go on trips they are much cheaper on the strip than with the Tour operators Prices Beer from 1.50euro Restaurants from 5euro for half chicken and chips and salad Top Restaurant i found The Royal its about half way on the front nice rump steak 6.50euro chicken dishes from 7euro and sea bass 10euro enjoy. Pubs with quiz etc The Barge inn beer 1.50 euro and meals top price is about 7euro. Its not as expensive what some people make out if you shop around

Puerto Del Carmen is one of the main towns in Lanzarote, which has a lovely long main beach with shops and restaurants close at hand. There's plenty to do for everyone. Has good nightlife and plenty of places of eat. The harbour and old town has some excellent restaurants, especially if you enjoy fish or sea food.

Very clean and tidy looking. beach was a let down as the sand was super charged, got a blister walking out on to it, not funny at all, so stayed at the pool. Reps from clubs are far to pushy, be firm keep walking, if you stop, they just go on at you. Shop around for duty free and dont wait for the airport, things there cost more.

The newer part of town seemed much more subdued in the evening; with a piano duo playing and people sitting around have quiet drinks. The older side is where it all happens. We had a really nice holiday the hotel was in a nice quiet area of Puerto Del Carmen, finding it easy to use the bus service to get to town (1 euro each on the bus) where there are lots of shops and bars.

didnt really spend any time in playa blanca, just stayed in hotel mainly. At the front of our hotel you could go onto the front and see a beach in the distance, you can also get ferry over to fuertaventura, the place is really clean and looked fairly quiet on our way back to the airport.

This resort is quite quiet and not really suitable for teenagers looking for lively nights out. Shops are not bad and there is a market at the Rubicon Marina every Wednesday and Saturday. On a visit into the town one day I used the public toilets near the taxi rank (which are very clean by the way) and later realised that I had left my mobile phone there. Went back to the toilets over an hour and a half later and was shocked to find the phone exactly where I had left it (no chance of that happening at home). I also heard of an English gent who had left his wallet on the table at one of the restaurants on the front and it was also still there when he went back some time later. Prices in the shops are more expensive than at home for a lot of the things and cost to eat out quite expensive since last time we were there.

Costa Teguise is not for anyone who enjoys a night out. Its mainly for families with young children and older couples. There isnt much to do but it didnt bother us too much. Its cheaper to drink that eat. 1.50 for a large beer.

We didn't really go out at night, however, it seems to be a very quiet resort and there wasn't much to do other than looking round all the shops. We didn't go snorkelling but the beaches were nice. There seemed to be a really good snorkelling bit round at the hotel Occidental.

we went for 2 weeks at the start of june and the place was dead, bars on the sea front were shutting at 11'oclock, we did finally find somewhere with a bit of life after 10 days, i little square hidden off the road near the sea front, taxi back to the beatriz was just under 4 euros a time.

if you do go to lanzarote you must go to timanfaya national park, only 8 euros to get in and well worth the money

The resort is very clean.Lots of shops and very reasonable prices don't seem to rip you off. The beech areas are very clean and good for young children .The whole family liked the place which i must say is a first that we all agreed.

The resort is clean, quite quiet not really for clubbers which i would recommentd staying in puerto del carmen if thats what holiday you are after.
