Great Location, lovely beach within 5 minutes walk and the harbour and marina are in opposite directions within 15 to 20 minutes. The promenade is very nice and it is a lovely walk especially in the evening. Lots of varied restaurants both at the harbour and within the marina. Playa Blanca took approx 25 minutes by taxi from the airport and it cost us 37 euros each way.Lots of different trips available if you fancy seeing more of the island.

Playa Blanca is one of the quieter resorts on the island. The shopping area is mostly pedestrianised and has plenty of supermarkets and gift shops. There are also childrens play area's scattered around the town. Along the sea front near to the harbour are numerous restaurants and cafe's. Ferries run from Playa Blanca Harbour across to Corralejo in Fuerteventura.
Time from the airport is between 30 to 45 minutes. If you are hiring a car then Timanfaya national park is within easy reach (20minutes drive)

Playa Blanca is really beautiful, the beaches are great and close to Sun Tropical,(courtesy coach outside the hotel every hour on the hour)the town is lovely, especially down near the marina. We went to the market, which is runs on Saturday and picked up some great bargains( but you have to haggle)the pubs are great,Paddy Macs done a lovely Sunday Roast.I must say I really enjoyed the walks around the Marina del Rubicon.
