great resort with plenty of places to go eat and drink.

Our hotel was a fair walk to the centre, but a nice pleasant walk. There are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from along the promonade, most overlooking the sea. The beaches seemed clean but a little crowded.

Beautiful, quiet (but getting busier) resort. Get there while you still can before it expands! Fantastic restaurants, good beaches, live music along the sea front. Excellent walks into the volcanic landscape, and up the local volcanoes where people arrange their names in the stones and mine has been there for 17 years now - and is still there! Good sea, great food, relaxing fun all round. Have been going there for last 20 years +

Lovely, clean and pretty. Great bars on the marina front! food was lovely and typically spainish not sunday roast in sight!!!

Playa Blanca was more upmarket than the other resorts in Lanzarote from past experiences. We found some lovely restaurants and beaches although eating out could be quite costly if choosing restaurants on the main coastal strip. A trip to the Marina Rubicon is well worth a look as is the small market held there mid week and Saturdays. Timanfaya Volcano is an excellent excursion and Texas Rancho during the day is great for kids. In summary, Playa Blanca is well worth a visit.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. A harbour port where you can catch a ferry to Fuerteventura, or just sit at the Quayside with a coffee or cold drink and watch the world go by. There are a few gift shops.

In all the location is fantastic and plenty of things to do and see just stay away from this hoel and you wont go far wrong.

Playa Blanca is a quiet resort in lanzarote perfect for older couples. If going with children ensure accommodation has a kids club. Playa blanca has a nice range of restaurants however this is really all there is to do in an evening. The beaches are clean with some offering water sports. It is an ideal place to go for a peaceful break.

The resort is quite spread out so make sure you check the location of your hotel or apartment. We were only 10 mins walk from the beach and main area of bars and shops. The marina was about a 5 mins walk. There was walks all along the front for miles. In one direction you can walk to the fabulous beaches of Papagoyo. It was lovely dining out at the seafront in an evening and we tried the marina area a couple of times too. I think this is the classiest resort on Lanzarote and I'd stay here again without hesitation.

A wonderful fast-developing resort that's retained it's charm. A fabulous prom, great beaches, lovely weather and a local Spanish feel. We love Playa Blanca.

playa blanca is a lovely place just pay a little bit more for your accommodation and you will not be disappointed.

Great definately go back. They have really good shop and we found Charlies scent shop the cheapest if you suddenly run out of sun cream and scents. Ladies right down the bottom of the town take a trip to Mango for ladies much cheaper than at home and lovely clothes plenty of benches outside for your other halves to sit on. We found eating out was very reasonable too. The walk back along the promande to our hotel was lovely but we stopped off at Rubicon and got a taxi back which was only 2.50 euros the taxi where very cheap.

I love this resort, lots of bars (lovely beach bars) shops etc... I'm a big beach fan so I would recommend a car to get to the out of town beaches. Very expensive for drinks etc...this year (the euro is going nowhere). Not a resort for groups of young people but a lovely resort for families/couples
