"Still great"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Stayed here in the mid 90's and can honestly say it is still great following our holiday in August 2010. I cannot fault it's position within the resort and closeness to good beaches, shops etc. Brilliant for families with plenty of choice of food for kids and adults alike ,reasonably priced drinks in the hotel and good service all round.

"Lanzarote Princess"
Overall Hotel Rating:
LanzarotePrincess is in a nice location and close to beach. The bars and restaurants on the main sea front can be expensive so look before you sit down - try a place called Waxs the drinks are cheap and the bar staff really friendly (english). Waxs is direct opposite the hotels back entrance which is on the main road cross the road there is a parade of shops go down the middle and you will find Waxs on your right. Nice walk also to the marina turn left on the sea front really upmarket nice yachts etc., and little restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is nice and friendly the down side is that the pool is really cold and safety precautions are laxed where children are concerned - as the life guard when there is one, there can only see one side of the big pool - the otherside where children are can be seen is hidden from his view which is really dangerous. The edge of the pool is really rough and whilst we were there several people had scraped themselves on the hartd surface - also in the pool itself uneven in places where the tiles had come loose. The hotel could really do with a good makeover as this is suppose to be a 4 star compared to others in Lanzarote we have stayed we would say it was really a 3 star. Entertainment not good for a 4 star - but we did enjoy our stay at this hotel and if it is a quite and relaxing holiday then this is the place.

"Almost perfect hotel, very good choice!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel is beautiful! We were lucky to have a refurbished room at the time and it was clean and fresh. We had a 13 year old with us and opted for a family room, which gave us more space. Entertainment was a bit 'thrown together', so we only went once or twice and usually left early. However, the same team have spent the whole day organising activites for guests and I think they deserve a medal for their commitment and hard work. Location is excellent for the beach and a nice stroll down to the shops. Had a few issues with the toilet, but it was always serviced as soon as we told reception. There was a happy hour every evening from 5-6pm (I think it was), this meant you bought 1 drink and got 1 free, once i'd sampled the delights of Sangria we were buying a small jug and getting one free, which was perfect and daughter was happy to receive 2 glasses of coke or fanta after a day sunbathing by the pool! Loved our holiday here, and the weather was brilliant for October.

"Old Favourite"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This hotel although getting older (the first in Playa Blanca) is still a firm favourite with many . It is in the process of refurbishment but that doesn't deter many people from returning year after year. The hotel is in a superb location in Playa Blanca, the food is above average for buffet style food in a hotel. Rooms are comfortable.

"Relaxing break"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Excellent location very close to a lovely beach which had a plentiful supply of sunbeds. Food in the hotel was good with a wide choice but much the same every day which became boring. Mini-golf was well maintained and was fun. Tennis court could be booked fairly easily. My oldest son enjoyed the shooting activities which were organised every morning. The marina was a 15 minute walk away and there were a few good restaurants for a relaxing lunch.

"Good Value for Money"

The holiday and resort exceeded our expectations - very good location. We were lucky as we were allocated one of the refurbished rooms with a good size balcony. Very good value for money.

"Great Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
A friendly hotel in a great position with lovely pool area/garden. We had one of the newly refurbished rooms which had been done to a really good standard. Meals were all buffet style with a wide choice and well cooked. No shortage of sunloungers and plenty of space in the pool area. Staff were helpful and cheerful. A lovely holiday.

"Happy Hols"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel was better than we had expected after reading some of the other reviews. We were given a large family room, which was lovely. The pool area was fantastic and there were always something to do for the children. The staff were brilliant and made my husbands 40th birthday really special - they decorated our table with balloons and streamers, and put a suprise bottle of wine and birthday card in our room. Would go back

"Not a 4* !"
Overall Hotel Rating:
No way a 4* hotel! more like a 3* (if that) Wouldn't recommend it, staff are useless, except the travel rep, he helped us loads! We were disapointed with so many things and i got food poisioning while there, left behind on a first choice excursion, took the staff 2 days to put a safe in our room when we had already paid for it. We also paid for late checkout and they locked us out of our room at noon and we had to wait over half an hour at reception for someone to reactivate our room card. poor service. Oh well our 1st poor holiday from first choice in all the years we have been using them. oh well.

"Not a 4 star"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Plus points. We were given room 039 so we knew that we would be on the ground floor. After a route march we finally got there. It was a family room we were told and was quite big with two single beds, a settee, coffee table and t.v. There were two wardrobes and a dressing table as well. The bathroom was nice and we had clean towels every day. Our room overlooked the pool and was quiet. The pool area was large and there was no problem finding a sunbed. The sunbeds were plastic but you could hire a mattress and towel for 60cents per day. Minus points. Dining room, most times you had to queue to get in the dining room as there were not enough staff to clear the dirty tables and reset them. A few smiles wouldn't have gone amiss. Food was certainly not four star. Most of the time lukewarm or cold. Not much choice for dessert. I don't class chicken livers, rabbit and squid as four star food. Entertainment was rubbish. Parrot show, birds of prey, magician. The drifters appeared and then came another night as the Four Tops! Some of the hotel had been refurbished but it needs to be closed down and done right through. The corridors were dark and carpets were old and threadbare in places. The lift from the first floor to the groung floor was out of order nearly every day and I had to report it several times. There was a piano bar which was very nice but you couldn't have a conversation with anybody beacuse the piano and saxaphone player were that loud you had to shout to one another. Happy hour was five til six and there was plenty of staff to serve until about eight pm when most of the staff went to the entertainment room and left two to serve in the piano bar for the rest of the night. The balcony lights went off early so if you wanted to enjoy a drink and a read before you went to bed you had no chance. Most of the staff had a smile for you but the rest could have done with course in customer relations.

"lanzarote princess"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This is the second time i have stayed in this hotel this year and would thoroughly recommend it .The re-furbished room was excellent, the range of buffet meals were very good and i always found the staff to be polite and helpful. The evening entertainment in the piano bar was first class ( Carlos & Kerr this time.) The location of the hotel could not be better, half way between the town and the marina,a very easy walk along a traffic free promenade.Allin all avery nice place to stay.

"Appalling security"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Enjoyed the stay until the last day although the choice & quality of food had deteriorated since our last visit 2 years ago. We paid an extra 30 euros to keep our room until 6pm. Between 2pm & 6pm we were pestered 4 times by cleaning staff. However what was frightening and an appalling lack of common sense & security was when a man entered our room when my wife was alone & unclothed and claimed the room was his. When I challenged reception I was told that an incoming guest had been given a key to our room early, in order to avoid the inconvenience of him having to return to reception for the key after we left. I was offered a free drink as a gesture of apology. BE AWARE, DON'T TAKE YOUR PERSONAL SECURITY FOR GRANTED AT THIS HOTEL.

Overall Hotel Rating:
the hotel was situated locally to the bach and town with exellent views around lanzorotte the hotel was clean to a high standared and the services was exellent and staff were very very polite and made the hotel environment very comphy the night entertainment was fantastic i was out most of the day time so did not cacth much during the day at the hotel but it looked equally as good. the food in the hotel was also remarkable and they catered for every one and had a wide menue choice if they did not have it they also attemped to make it. the rooms were great and we had a king size bed wich was like sleeping on a cloud the swimming pool made this a great family hotel and my family loved having a splash in there in the evening and lounging next to the pool meeting people other holiday makers who were also very satisfied. the location was great it was a stone frow from the local town and the beach ideally set and was not in a very hilly area which made wheal chair access for my dad very easy the hotels toilets and main facilitys were of excellent standard includdding all the relivent ddissiblity needs and there was also breat feeing and baby changing facilitys ready availible which made this hotel ideal for young an old familys
