Club Pocillos Apartments Reviews

After reading reviews about the apartments - Club Pocillos we had booked i was a bit iffy about the whole thing, but when we arrived at the apartments we knew we had nothing to worry about, the room we were in was spotless and in fact the maid was still cleaning when we arrived. The downside on arrival was the receptionist, he could not speak much english and therefore could not help us out when we questioned if we could have a new safety deposit box because it wasnt working. but apart from that are arrival and room were fine.

When we found the pool we were dissappointed because it was so tiny but after our welcome meeting with the rep things were looking up when she had advised that we could use the adjoining apartments pool at the costa mar. When we decided to go to Costa Mar' pool we were very impressed with it, it was two pools, one for small children and one which was deep for adults. Everyday at the costa mar they had different activities for people around the pool i.e. water polo which involved all different people from different countries (team building.).

A few days after being at club pocillos we decided to visit the beach which was practically on our doorstep. You crossed over the road and you were on playa de los pocillos beach, it was beautiful and not a spot of litter to be seen.

The only thing regarding the beach is that it was very windy and therefore you were getting sand everywhere, for young children i would recommend a wind stopper so that they aren't getting sand in their eyes etc.

Where we were located was excellent also as it was only a five minute walk into the main town of Puerto del Carmen. One thing i will say is the PR people dont accept no for an answer but if we weren't interested in their clubs we would just say we are meeting people elsewhere...it worked everytime!!

Overall i found our holiday excellent and would think about returning there again sometime in the future.
