We found the apartments very clean with adequate facilities for a self catering holiday, bar/receiption staff were not as friendly as we would have liked, breakfast in the complex looked good until we found the silver from the frying pan on the underside of...
We found the apartments very clean with adequate facilities for a self catering holiday, bar/receiption staff were not as friendly as we would have liked, breakfast in the complex looked good until we found the silver from the frying pan on the underside of our eggs! taxis to Puerto del Carmen worth the 4 Euros. Matagorda itself was very quite but that may be due to going early season, we would recommend the Irish bar for food and stay away from Steve's Balti house if you fancy a curry - not very nice at all.
All in all a very nice place to stay - the noise from the Airport did not bother us at all so don't let that put you off staying at the Playa Pocillos.
