Our 2nd visit to this hotel (spent Xmas here in 2006) and nothing has changed, it is still fabulous. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then you can't go wrong. Hotel exceptionally clean, staff extremely friendly, food excellent, rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Plenty of space around the pools, no need to put out towels to reserve sunbeds, there are plenty. Weather very good 27 degrees most days. Nice marina just down the road from the hotel, although the journey back from the marina is up hill and would not suit elderly or those with mobility problems, however you can get a taxi from reception to take you there, worth a visit, nice shops, supermarket and bars/restaurants and some very nice yachts/boats to look at. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, we will cetainly be going back.
Resort not suited for those who want nightlife, although Puerto del Carmen is a short bus/taxi ride away. Suitable for those wanting a relaxing holiday

A wonderful 4* hotel. Quiet resort with small marina and designer shops and restaurants. 4 pools and spa. Lots of space for all. Very windy! No complaints except a bit quiet for the teenagers. Only booked with Cosmos as I used Tesco vouchers, but not impressed. I don't think they knew we existed. Not a patch on Portland direct.
The hotel certainly lived up to the high expectations suggested by the comments made on this website.
Rooms spacious and well appointed. Ask for Rooms 145 to 155, you have garden terrace and direct access to the main pool.

Although it is a large hotel there are 3 main pools (a bit cool)kids pool and spa pool with extensive gardens and seating areas. Even in July the hotel never seemed too busy and there was no need to make a dash for the pool in the morning with your towels unless you wanted a particular area.
The only time the hotel seemed busy was when there was a wedding (5 during our 2 weeks holiday) but weddings used the a la carte restaurant which wasnt in use otherwise. Only one pool bar was being used but you never had to wait very long to be served by the excellent staff. Pool side restaurant used for lunch but you could also get snacks and icecreams from the bar if you didnt want lunch.
All inclusive was definately the best option, not many paying. Well known brands were included in AI and waiter service for drinks in restaurant for dinner and both piano bar and entertainment centre.
Food was excellent, hot and several theme nights which added variety to a very extensive choice. Less adventurous younger children would rely on burgers, pizza and chips.
Kids club proved a hit with our 8 year old and most teens joined in with activities offered by hotel entertainment staff which worked so hard from 10.30 am to 11pm 6 days a week.
Evening entertainment was a bit mixed but generally as good as it gets!
Car hire from the hotel was a real bargain, 90 euros for 4 days for a micra or corsa. National Park to see the volcanic landscapes and Teguise sunday markets are worth it. Also hired cycles, arranged by reception and the hotel provides a daily bus to Pte del carmen
Go for it you wont find a better value for money 4* AI in the canaries.

Staff are very friendly and the service is excellent they can not do enough for you. We had a great surprise you can opt for £20.00 bottles of wine with your Evening Meal off the wine list alongside named spirits in the day and evening. If you arrive late you are offered a cold salad in the restaurant which adds a nice touch
We met some great people from Essex and Manchester at the hotel and they all agreed that it was the best hotel they have ever stopped in. The staff work very hard and contribute towards the nice friendly atmosphere in the hotel.
If you decide to walk out of the hotel the harbour is a lovely area but don't forget some bread to feed the fish!
