went there end of may for two weeks it was brill apartments big and comfy and clean and we never saw a cockroach at the hotel all the while we was there we had a great view over pool and we could just see the sea, maid was great had towels changed regular and bedding too what was funny watching the brits waiting for the man to unchain the sun beds looking at their watches then they put their towels on and well you not see them for hours sad but there was no need as there was plenty to go around we not use the pool bar much it was a bit dismal we went out every night to the strip there are plenty of places to eat depending on what you like corner bar good a lovely steak for 7euros just done as you like it will def go back there one day oh and not to worry about the hill it not that bad and you do get used to it have a great time there

apart from a steep hill,the location was excellent.there were plenty of shops and little bars(irish)to choose from if you did not want to go to the main promanarde.the apartments themselves were basic but clean.we had the cleaners in every day and bedding and towels also replaced daily apart from the sunday.the hotel staff the rep and the bar staff are all helpfull and friendly.

Overall this was a very good holiday! The aperments were basic but clean and well maintained! The maid service was very regular and the maid was very friendly and did everything to our requirements! The rooms were as described and slghtly bigger then we had imagined.

The pool area is lovely, the pool is quite big, however the shallow end is not as shallow as you might think! so watch yout lil 'uns! There isnt the usual fight/slanging fest/pool brawl for sun loungers here, they are padlocked away until 09:00 am, much to the disaproval of some early birders on our holiday! The pool is spotless and the whole outside/garden area is lovely and well maintained!

The foos is quite basic but very nice! a lot of effore goes into the meals in this hotel and nearly everyone who was on our holiday ate there nearly every night! One family who we went with went there 3 times a year! and have done for the past god knows how many years!

The actual resort Puerta Del Carmen is quite lively on an Evening, however there are some pleasant more tranquil parts to it as we found! there are some friendly welcoming family bars in the centre, which we visited on a few occasions! The beach is very nice with plenty to do, however because the pool area was so nice we stayed round there mostly.

The evening entertainment was very funny, on our second evening we had mini-golf, bingo, karaoke and a talent competition, my husband won the mini-golf in which we were rewarded a free breakfst and evening meal for our family and a free round of drinks! not bad for a hole in one! Our children entered the talent competition, our daughter sang and our son did football tricks! Most of the evenings followed this format but with 3/4 different activities each night! We were very impressed!

Went on a last minute deal as my daughter had just finished her exams. These apartments are very basic but spotless. The maid came in every day and there was a change of towels every day. There is plenty of sunbeds and the pool area is excellent. There was no entertainment in the apartments but as we ate out every night it did not bother us. The restaurants are very nice. I particularly liked Pinochios. Very nice food. We went to the chinese buffets a couple of times but they are just not the same as our chinese meals here.

I would definately recommend these apartments to any age group.
