we found this villa on lanzarotebreaks.com and got a great bargain. the villa is situated in a quiet area of Tias, just outside pueto del carmen. this is a great location if you hire a car. we hired a jeep from auto anthons which is located in puerto del carmen for the cheapest price arround of 280 euros. when we got to the villa we were gobsmacked just how beautiful the place was. everything was in mahogany and the floors were marble.

the place is nicer than our own house! the bedrooms are huge and the pool is like swimming in a bath! if you want to go out on a night i recommend puerto del carmen, its the most lively resort with great bars and restuarants. the bars we liked mostly were the hippodome, route 66, ceasers( a tad expensive being a nightclub), and titos. the best restuarant i found was tex-mex. i had the nicest pizza i've ever had for only 6 euros.

The places i recommend the most during the day are:
1) papagayo beach in playa blanca, beautiful beach! i dont know what people are on about when they say theres no drinks! as theres a bar just at the top which serves food aswell! although very expensive. i payed 5 euros for 2 cans of coke!
2)costa teguise market. this is only on a sunday. massive market with some nice stuff.
3) the national park volcano tour. you have to go here and if you've got a car even better. in a car you get to drive straight through the centre of the vocanoes, which is a great site to see. you then get on a bus which takes you round the volcanoes for 8 euros each. dont take any of the coach tours if you can as these are 44 euros plus each, complete rip off!
4) aquapark in costa teguise. this has had some bad reviews and i dont know why because we had a great time! again if you have a car drive there because its only 20 euros each and about 40 on a coach tour.

we didnt go to the texas park or fuerteventura which i was dissapointed about because it sounds good. i will definately do it next time though.

i highly recommend lanzarote to all ages.
the weather was great. boiling through the day which a slight breeze and nice and cool in the evenings.
