"visit to Barcelona"

wonderful place to visit, just a little over hyped. Prefer Venice, Paris and others. I liked the wide streets and general cleanliness. Wish London could be like it

we stayed here 15th-19th ssept for wedding anniversary. Excelent all round and would highly recommend as an alternative to staying in an average hotel in centre for the same price or more. Suffered only from the occasional smell of drains which seems fairly...

Barcelona is a lovely place so much to see and do . A little expensive. but you could spend two weeks there and still not see everything.
I just wouldn't stay with Loving Barcelona Apartments again

The old town of Girona is a lovely place. Cobbled streets and history so plenty of walking around. We found 2 days was enough for us but then it was mid 30s degrees and exceptionally hot! The drinks were very cheap we thought - on average 3-4 euros for a beer and a glass of wine. And the food we had was very good (3 course menu del dia for lunch - between 10 & 13 euros). The Gironan people are very nice and friendly and we didn't feel threatened or unsafe at all the whole weekend. I'm never sure what language to try and speak as they all speak Catalan and I wanted to try out my Spanish! We managed fine though. I would recommend a long weekend to Girona.

We stayed at the Sidorme Girona which is in a suburb of Girona. We flew to Girona on Ryanair and got a taxi to the hotel which is about 25 mins drive and approx 20 euros. We chose this hotel as it was cheap and we knew beforehand that it would just be fun...

Shame the Euro is so expensive as it made everything very expensive. Barcelona is quite widespread, lots to see and do. The turistico bus made good sense to us.

Spent 4 days in Barcelona, staying at the Barcelona Princess. About 16 miles in a cab (about 35 Euros). The Hotel was very prominent on the Diagonal Strip, almost sky scraper like. Very modern and very impressive. The lifts were glass style of which you cou...
