The Arosa is 4* hotel centrally situated directly off the Gran Via. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance. The breakfasts are very good and available fron 7am until 11am. The service was excellent. I asked at reception for extra pil...
The Arosa is 4* hotel centrally situated directly off the Gran Via. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance. The breakfasts are very good and available fron 7am until 11am. The service was excellent. I asked at reception for extra pillows and by the time I got back to the room, the pillows had already been delivered.Towels were changed daily , despite our placing them back on the towel rails! Bed linen changed every other day. There was a digital safe in the room, operated by your own credit card. This was free. the only trouble with this system was that you always had to carry that credit card or you couldn'nt get into the safe !! Would really recommend the Arosa.

Overall
Lovely city. The Royal Palace is a must see. Some fabulous Spanish restaurants serving 3 course lunches for 10 euros. Metro is very reliable and all the trains are very clean and new.
