Alcudia is a nice resort. There is plenty to do, a few decent bars and nice restaurants. Great if you have older kids, for the arcades and stuff.

Alcudia is a brilliant resort and would suit anyone young and old with a long sweeping beach and gently sloping sea, it's very safe even for tiny tots.

hotel was really close to beach (2 min walk) beach very clean and so much fun. the resort was very quiet when we went ( end of oct ) by end of holiday most shops were closing up 4 the season but still had geat holiday and would go back but a bit earlier in season.

Again as the end of the summer season approaches only shops left open were tabacs and off licence type place. Most of the actual supermarkets were winding down their stock, beautiful clean beach and streets and weather was still considerably warm for october.

Furthermore, we walked down to Calla Millor, which is about 5-10min walk, which has lots of restuarants and shops with great deals. Well worth a visit. The beach is nicer further along the coast, more sandy lots of seaweed one end. But it didn't put us off going for a swim. I would recommend coming to this wonderful hotel, I think it would best suit couples and older people. Although there was a few families, I would think in summer holidays it would be more busier and more families. We will definitly be going back soon and will not be picking out ridiculous 'bad points' but instead enjoying our holiday at the fantastic Protur Alicia

Cala D'or is really beautiful. We went in October 2009 and the beaches were very clean and not overcrowded so not sure what they would be like in the height of the season? It is a quiet resort in that there are no nightclubs but there are plenty of bars and restaurants which offer something for everyone. We tried a few different restraurants but have to say that PP Chaves (which is right opposite from Sol Cal D'or Apartments) to be the best. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was superb. There are lots of gift shops but to be honest most of them sold exactly the same items but some are cheaper than others so it pays to look around.

We visited four different beaches each within 5 - 15 minutes walk. All are very pretty surrounded by trees- our favourite was Cala Ferrera which is a little further out but beautiful and very quiet. Cala Gran is the busier of the beaches, Cala Dor is tiny but lovely. Cala Esmeralda is arguably the prettiest, but also gets busier, and surrounded by hotels. A visit to the marina/bay is a must , its around a 15 minute walk away, and we had a super meal overlooking the bay one evening, watching the amazing boats. We will definitely make a return visit to the Sa Marina and would hire a car next time to visit some of the other local towns, and Palma, to experience the local way of life, as the organised tours are overally expensive ,

Loads to wander around and explore. We really liked the fact that there are 5 or so different beaches to choose from - and even more if you like walking.

Massive amount of bars and restaurants giving a wide variety of choice. We really liked the cafe bar in the square with a jug of rose for only 6 euros to sit and people watch.

It's well worth a walk to Cala Llonga and walk around the marina - if only to green with envy at the millions of pounds worth of boats there. Had a great lunch in the sun and got a taxi back for 8 euro. Don't bother with the train thing. A complete rip-off as 8 euro each and is no more than a bus really giving you a tour of hotels.

I really liked Cal D'or. We booked this as a last minute cheap deal and wasn't at all disappointed. It does what it says on the tin. Historic and cultural it isn't but a good value, all round resort it is.

Mini train is a great way to find your way around.

Marina nice but food over priced/

The resort is lovely. A very long flat promenade which is ideal for walking with bars and restaurants everywhere. Also public seats so you can walk and sit without spending a lot of money. Beaches are good with lifeguards. Overall a very good resort.

had a great time in calla millor. lovely beach and plenty to do. the best bar/restaurant in the resort has to be cheers bar. excellent home cooked food and lovely friendly staff. we found it on the 2nd day of our 2 week holiday and returned every day for breakfast and evening meal. had all the sports channels, a ps3 and nintendo wii to keep the kids entertained. fantastic place would definately return!!!

A pretty resort with a great beach at Cala Millor,good walks to Cala Bona along a flat walk but do watch out for the bikes.Plenty of bar and hotel entertanment in the evening

The resort consists of a shopping centre with some bars but the surrounding countryside, the beaches and coves and the coastline are beautiful.

This only a small resort it is very clean with all the usual shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is lovely and has a lovely cliff top walk. The local transport is excellent easy to get to other places.

What bit I saw was very nice, I was stuck in the hotel most of the time. I think other hotel guests were happy about the resort.
