A quiet resort with pretty beach. Suitable for families with young children and couples of any age not wishing for a hectic nightlife. Plenty of good adult and family entertainment, free but the expectation is you buy drinks whcih we found very reasonable. Prices average for Majorcia. Easily accessed local buses and taxi-boats. Access to all the good shows by arranged trips, good family show- Pirates, but you need to save up with the childrens' packs being extra. Lots of nice free walks and lots of space on the very clean beaches with visible lifeguards, although neigbouriong Cala Millor is often very crowded. Would definitely recommend it.

alcudia is a bit to big for me , but we did still enjoy the holiday. the apartments were quite a walk from the beach about 20 minutes, but a fantastic beach, and plenty of bars and shops. the waterpark is a must only 5 minutes walk from the apartments!

only when into the port area of resort once but what i did see was reasonable. The cost of food and drink was very close to uk prices do to the exchange rate of the euro.

Alcudia is a busy lively resort full of shops and restaurants. The beach is large and clean and the sea is beautiful.

cala dor resort excellent place long as weather warm-a visit on starfish boat out to sea a must!usual lucky lucky sellers in town trying to sell poor goods! resturants very good price too

i wouldn't recommend the food in some places the shops are full of things presents to take back home something for everyone the shop keepers are very polite the night-life starts up about 8-9pm the beaches are packed with sunbeds and umbrellas very lovely locals they always smile at you .. loved it.

Alcudia is a good typical Med resort, plenty to keep you entertained, lots of good British restaurants serving fish fingers etc for the kids and lots of fun things. The waterpark is good fun.

This was out first trip to Mallorca having always gone to the mainland in the past. We thought Alcudia was clean, relaxed and had a wonderful beach. Perhaps some of the main attractions are a bit far away but there is a small water park and plenty to do if you are active types. Take a trip to Pollenca one day if you can, its just a few km away but is beautiful.

beautifull resort, everything you need on a hol within close proximity , only ten min walk to magaluf.

Lovely resort, kiddy friendly beach shallow with water sports. when we went weather was quite cloudy and find this happens each time we go, we think the clouds stick to the mountains. Their is a watepark about 15 mins walk which is good value.

We made a mistake going to Santa Ponsa - it appears to be aimed at young families and teenagers not as the brochure advised " a resort built around a fishing village". We expected a Cala d'Or type resort - two streets were acceptable to ourselves but the others were full of "faux" irish taverns - okay if you want that type of holiday. On the Spanish side there wear a number of good restaurants overlooking the sea ( not cheap) but without these our holiday would have been a disaster

Santa Ponsa is very well situated for visiting Palma (5.6o euros each way or 23 euros by taxi) & Portals Nous Marina (12 euros by taxi)where the millionaires (sorry billionaires) park their yachts.

In my opinion there isnt enough going on here even for 1 week. Theres a few bars, a good mini golf which was about 5euros each!!!but passed a good hour, some bargain shops for clothes/ souveniers but they all shut at 10pm.

cala dor very very nice taxis expensive though and beach have a distinct smell when on them sewage-a trip on the starfish boat a must as you can swim 30 mins out at sea

Clean, safe and friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach. Great resort for all ages.
