Alcudia is a pleasant resort, away from the mayhem and trashiness of Magaluf. It's a fair drive away from Palma airport, so was certainly worth hiring a car. Good selection of restaurants of all types of food, and some good bars, although not much in the way of nightclubs.

As D block had everything we needed, we only popped to the main shopping stretch once for a bit of shopping. Loadsa tourist shops, cheap booze and cigs and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Clean place and the port is a must see. Lots of restaurants and bars. The horses and carts are a nice sight.

Clean, beauitful and friendly. Lots of different nationalities, mixing happily in the sun. It's hot hot hot, even at this time of year (June), but the sea is a welcome break. The marina is a pleasant place to visit, with lots of friendly shops and interesting browsing to be done. Not too noisy for younger families, but plenty to do for those with older kids too.

A walk around the harbour is a must, how the other half live!!! Beach is amazing and the sea is so clear. Very good for children as it is very shallow. Only one downside - the mosquitos - take some mossie spray as alcudia seems to be inundated with them!

Alcudia has everything a young family could want from a holiday. Clean, safe beaches. Plenty of places to explore within walking distance. A good selection of family oriented trips out. Restaurants cater for children and many have play areas and bouncy castles etc. Overall young families can't go wrong in Alcudia.

Alcudia it self is beautifull. The beach is amzing and there are lots and lots of bars/restaurants. My partner and I like some nightlife and we found that the resort has the right balance, not to much but its there if you like a good time and a drink. We found that food is now v v expensive but there are quite a few chinese buffets for only 5 euro each and the food was amazing.
Alcudia has stunning beaches with plenty of watersports activities. The resort is very varied- there are quiet areas and more lively parts too. The Old Town, a short taxi ride (about 5 euros) from the main resort is beautiful and there is a large market there on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Every one trying to make a quick buck for example: Super kings for instance were 30 Euro we looked around at other places then went back the next day to the first place. Asked what price they said and it had gone up another 5 Euro the guy said next week they go up again I told him the best place to put them up? Some places try to charge 5 Euro for a cup of coffee. Went on a Kat ride was taken to a beach no one would dream of going to for one hour cost for trip nearly 56 Euro. A bus ride they wanted about 59 Euro each person nearly £100 for two people. Had to walk every where unless you paid for a taxi after two days your feet were on fire. The only way I would go again is kicking and screaming lol. They look at you like something they have just trod on if you ask a question maybe when our money gets better we can reverse it and do the same to them. The place is like an over rated Bl;ackpool smelling food every where cheep trinkets in the shops at aky high prices bord stiff after the second day.

Cala Bona review
"Quiet and family friendly"
resort to a friend
A very small resort and no real beach by our apartments but not a problem as we decided not to hit the beach this year as felt our daughter was a bit too young to appreciate it, possibly a beach a bit further on the road, the sea was lovely, clean and blue and you could see fish swimming about. All of the bars in the resort had some form of baby change facility (even if just a changing mat in the loo) and high chairs. Reasonable places to eat, I probably wouldn't go back again as we generally prefer a bit more going on but for what we needed this year it was perfect. There were glass bottomed boat trips from the harbour, I wish we had gone on it because the sea was so clear. Not a bad drive from the airport about an hour.
