The resort was not what i imagined there is lots to do but if you had told me adventure sports was one i would have said it was the wrong place. can picafort is dubbed old town however there is a lot of new life and the night life is also goon

Magaluf is a very nice resort. We have been before in the summer, but never before out of season. Most things are closed, but there are a few restaurants and bars open, as are some of the shops. But the weather is mild and pleasant and the hotel has entertainment.

We went to Palma out of season (january) which meant it was somewhat deserted - some bars and restaurants weren't open and Sunday in particular was extremely quiet. The palma -Soller train was also not running (i'd been looking forward to this!). However, we still had a great time. The old town is lovely - the cathedral in particular and the palaces. It is a shame about the busy road that runs along the sea front - i believe the government are thinking of sinking it underground which would be a good idea and the city could make more of it's sea front position. Eating was not cheap. My favourate part of the holiday, however, was heading into the mountains. The public transport is excellent and you can explore the rest of the island whilst being based in palma.

Alcudia is a good resort, has evrything you needf for a good holiday. Just the standard holiday type shops and bars, but thats what we were after.

The resort is very quiet (like most in Majorca in the winter) so if you are looking for restuarants you will probably have to leave the resort. Unless burger King & KFC are your thing. For strolling or cycling along the promande it great. How watch where you tread there is a lot of dogs poo every where.

Magaluf is a very nice resort. Lovely promenade you can walk along, very pleasant when the sun is out. There are a few places open showing the premier league. Came home very relaxed, and it was nice weather.

Magaluf is a great resort for a short break - the beach is lovely for a walk, and so long as the sun is out it is pleasant to sit there reading the paper. Weather in December isn't always so good though, so probably worth staying somewhere with activities during the day.

Pleasant resort to walk along the beach, a bit cool as it is December but mostly sunny. Nice and close to Palma too, which is good for a day trip. Still some bars and restaurants open at lunchtime.

Great resort to explore the island from.

Pop across to Palma and explore the old town. The bus is quick and easy.

Visited Palma many times, never tire. A beautiful and very friendly city. A special winter favourite, chilly in the side streets but place yourself for a morning coffee or drink in one of the many plazas..it gets too hot!

Everyone knows about this resort. Is Blackpool in the sun but cheaper!

Beaches are amazing and some nice bars. If you want a taste of the real Spain, avoid the resort!

Cheap and cheerful

Lovely resort with nice beach. If you go out of season like we did it is quite quiet and a lot of things are closed, but the weather was gorgeous.

lovely resort, lovely beach. you can walk all the way round. can't really complain about anywhere with british cafes and The Sun newspaper!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Opposite a parade of shops, bars and cafes and also a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Magaluf.
