Majorca, a spanish island with a twist. This island has something for everyone. Whether it is peace and quiet you want or the lively nightlife, Majorca has it all. Visit the north of the island and you will find the resorts of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia to name but two. Here you will find great beaches, good food and some nightlife if you want it. Puerto Pollensa is the more sedate resort of the two.

Magaluf is a good place to go for your holiday if you just want a good week of sun and aren’t too bothered about culture. Although it is quite high rise and there are lots of people around, it is a nice place and the beach is superb. There are so many good English bars and karoke for the evening!

Typical Med resort really, got all the bars, restaurants and shops you expect, you can take your pick of places showing the premier league. Nice enough beach, lovely weather. Can’t really go wrong.

The longest stretch of soft sandy beaches on the whole of the island, perfectly safe for all the kids. Not a noisy resort, quite relaxed and layed back with some great markets in and around the area every day. Not a place for young adults looking for nighclubs and drinking til the small hours, sorry, this is a family resort, it caters more for mums and dads with kids that need plenty of things to do to stop them getting bored.

Very small and miles from anywhere if you like walking or cycling then its ok if your looking for lots to do water parks etc then stay well clear as these are at leat an hour or so away and you would be better staying nearer Palma

A really nice resort although a way away from the hotel we staryed in, however we visited a few times and the food was always excellent.

Alcudia is a nice resort, lovely beach and plenty of restaurants. It is only a few minutes drive to Pollensa which is good. Only annoying thing is you get lots of hassle from people trying to get you in their bar which is annoying.

Santa Ponsa is a great family resort, we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. Beach is lovely, a nice little bay. There are some nice restaurants, all child friendly and a few shops. A trip over to Paguera, not too far away, is nice.

Nice generic beach resort with clean sandy beach. S'Illot next door is nicer though!! Would stay there maybe if I came back to this part of the island.

Lots of nice restaurants with reasonably priced food. Many of them had equipment to entertain the kid free of charges e.g bouncy castles.

As there are so many All Inclusive hotels now, the beach is under used, so lots of free sunbeds and acres of space. Beautiful sand, long shallow shore line ideal for young uns. But a tad pricey (4 euro's for each sun lounger).
The Old Town is the traditional meadieval walled sort, well worth looking around. And at night Alcudia port is lit beautifully.

resort to a friend
Sa coma is a great little resort can be a bit run down in places but the beach is fantastic nice shallow waters for the little ones would highly recommend. Many pubs do offers on there food (buy 2 meals get free bottle of wine) the royal oak does lovely english home cooked food which was nice also the Brittania pub, for spanish food visit cafe del mar. Would recommend visiting the pirate shoe in Maguluf well worth the money also Western Water Park is great for the little ones.

The resort itself was also disappointing nothing much to do but does have a nice beach which does get very overcrowded,we over the last 5 years have stayed round the other side of the bay at Alcudia which I do recommend more shops, better beaches, nice street canals just generally more to do.
