Overall Hotel Rating:
The Hotel was beautiful very clean and well maintained the pool was smaller than it looked in the pictures but still plenty big enough and very clean. it was a 2min walk to the beach and the local shops and bars were 2mins away. the rooms were a great size very spacious it had everything we needed i.e. fridge, toaster, kettle they were basic but fine. we will definately be returning.

"worse holiday in years"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in the fridge had mould inside the door, kettle wire had melted through to expose coloured wires inside, handle was melted.microwave had tomato sauce splattered inside and out, patio doors hadn't been cleaned in a long time, they had hand marks and liquid stains on them. thick cobwebs on cupboard legs, dust, dirt , plastic wrapper and hairs under bed. Towel was ripped in bathroom to name a few of the problems we had when we seen the room they gave us, when we complained a maid was sent up to clean the room but only washed the floor with a dirty mop that left a terrible smell when I complained again I was handed a tin of air freshener. My youngest son was sick in the pool after choking and when I told them they said not to worry about it, No one even came out to the pool to look or see what needed done it was just ignored and not cleaned. When the maid came into the room all see done was change the towels and make the beds the floor was never brushed or washed. When we were there we heard other families complaining but rep did nothing to help.

"FANTASTIC RETURN VISIT"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was our second to Alcudia Beach Apartments and we enjoyed it even more than the first. All the staff went out of their way to make our holiday perfect and to make our family feel special. The hotel has a warm, welcoming family feel to it, whilst maintaining very high professional standards of cleanliness and service. The two rooms we have stayed in have both been well maintained and have more than met our needs. The poolside area and the pools themselves are kept immaculately clean and there are plenty of sun loungers. The poolside snackbar serves a wide variety of good quality food and drinks and is very reasonably priced. We couldn't drag our 2 sons away from the pool some days. Our boys have really enjoyed Minty's kid's club this year and he is working harder than ever to keep everybody happy, with the kids being his first priority. Happy kids means happy and relaxed parents. They have played water polo, pool, pony riding, water games and have painted t-shirts and other crafts. Minty's nightly mini disco is a massive hit with the children too, and on a Friday there are children's fancy dress parties with minty providing costumes for everyone. At night, there are fun games, quizzes and professional acts which appeal to both the adults and children. Children are as welcome to join in with the activities in at the night time as they are during the day, and Minty ensures everyone has a laugh and enjoys themselves. This year we made use of the hotel restaurant and were always very happy with the food and service. We definately recommend trying the majorcan dishes on the a la carte menu, though the british style food was fantastic too. There is plenty of choice and something for everyone in the family. Our son is a fussy eater and the staff were more than happy to make sandwiches for him, just as he likes them, and allowed him to just have an ice-cream whilst we were eating. On our first holiday we spent many days on Alcudia's amazing white sand beach, which is just a few minutes away from the hotel, but this year, our children barely wanted to leave the hotel because they were having so much fun, and we had a better holiday for it. As a family with two young children (age 8 and 6) we highly recommend the Alcudia Beach Apartments and Alcudia itself, and we are looking forward to returning soon. If you are looking for a friendly and comfortable base for a beach holiday and exploring Majorca, Alcudia Beach Apartments are in the perfect location. If you want a holiday by the pool where the children are entertained and you have everything you need and want in one place, Alcudia Beach Apartments are also the perfect choice. We highly recommend Alcudia Beach Apartments and Alcudia itself and we are looking forward to returning again in the future.

"Good"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just returned from a week in the Alcudia beach and i was not disapointed.Having arrived in the hotel in early hours the staff went out of there way to help us getting us milk, water etc for the babay. The room was bright and enough room for a comfortable stay.Would of liked a pool view that was the only bad thing.Hotel is lovely and clean and has everything you need.Having read a few of these reviews before we came we were surprised how anyone could complain about the hotel entertaiment, this was fab.Very freindly, brilliant with the kids and they really enjoyed it.Alcudia was brilliant loads of variety in restaurants, beware of prices though we found it very expensive especially for drinks. The restaurants down the port where lovely, right on the beach and food was gorgeous.I would recommend the tapas down there it was delicious. Some of the restaurants say kids eat free but once your in they tell you only certain things on the menu.Overall had a brilliant holiday and only thing now is i want to go back !

"great location, great staff."
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just arrived back from a weeks stay at the Alcudia Beach hotel. Great hotel, basic but clean and staff all lovely there. Minty the entertainer was great fun and very enthusiastic with the kids, enjoyed bingo and quiz nights . Hotel is in a great location 10mins from the beach and about 2ominutes to the port. About 30-40mins walk to the market/ old town. The old town was lovely and gave a true feel to Majorca, food much better here also. Resort is very expensive, nappies £15 in most places! Baby food jar £2.00 so stock up before you go. Taxi into port / market £5.00. Beach is beautiful, white sands and clean.Excursions expensive even with 'no frills' people. £50 for pirates night each and £50 each for island boat/ tram tour. Hotel was great , just wouldn't go back to Alcudia as too expensive as a resort.

"great"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The best thing about the Alcudia Beach Apartments has to be the large children's pool - enjoyed by all ages but great for under sevens. The entertainment manager Minty and his team work very hard and the children love him. The food at the pool bar was of an excellent standard and the staff in the whole of the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The 1 bedroom apartments are small but have everything you need - the balconies were a good size and we had a nice view of the pool. We had to move apartments as the first one we were allocated smelt of smoke but reception were very quick to move us when we complained. Air conditioning in the apartment was not as good as we have had elsewhere - this needs rehauling along with the decor in the apartments. The entertainment at night for the children was perfect, we didnt see any of the adult shows so couldnt comment on those. All in all we had a lovely family holiday, fabulous weather and very relaxing. with 3 happy children there were 2 happy parents.

"Alcudia Beach Apartments"
Overall Hotel Rating:
he hotel was really nice downstairs in reception, pool and restaurant etc but our room left alot to be desired. The kitchenette (I use the word loosely) was quite small with very little in the way of cooking apparatus. We spent a week trying to cook a breakfast for 2 in the pan the size of my wife's palm. To add to our cooking woes, we were supplied with 2 bunk/sofa beds for us to sleep on. Not the best when you want to climb into at least of double bed at night, we had to push the sofas together but still ended up with a week a poor sleep. The rooms that catered for upto 4 people did have a double bed in them but the other 2 people were destined to spend their week on sofas. So basically the hotel was great downstairs but the rooms were very dated. Now I come to Alcudia it's self, gorgeous beaches....lovely marina....horrendous chavvy strip of bars. If your looking for England with a bit of heat and a load of bars called the Red Lion or The White Rose then you've come to the right place. We found only one traditional spanish restaurant and the rest sold good old pie and chips!
