"BEWARE!!!!!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Spent last 2 weeks of June at the Saturno. Hotel itself and complex not that bad. The people that stay there are another matter. I am ashamed to be British!! Our first week was quite quiet and really enjoyed it apart from noise at night in corridors. The second week was completely different. Loads of people came, mostly english, and descended upon us. Meal times became a free for all with pushing and shuving. I have never seen so many rude, mouthy and unruly people in one place!! We spent most of our second week at the beach and in the evenings we went to the port to get away from it. The complex is big but not big enough when they get busy. Staff are continually cleaning up after the messy ones, throwing rubbish and food all over the floors. And allowing their kids to poo in the pools everyday!! We will not be going back!! We had read reviews before we went and wish that we had taken more notice.

"never again!!!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
we have just returned from 14 nights at hotel jupiter and are so relieved to be home. the weather was not very good rained at some point every day with only a couple of hours of sunshine, hotel cannot be blamed for this but with everybody cramming inside once the weather turned it was horrendous, hundreds of people rushing to find a table which we usually had to clean ourselves once we did get one, there was no entertainment inside at all not even a bit of music so you can imagine the noise of about 200 people chatting away and kids running wild, instead of bringing the entertainment indoors (which they could have done there was a stage) you either had to continue outside in the wind and rain or abandon it all together. the rooms were very small one room with 2 double beds and if you had a cot bed like we did that was pretty much all your space gone. balcony was so tiny couldnt sit and relax out there unless you were on your own! the food was very limited and wasnt nice at all we ended up eating out more. there was not much veg on offer at all mainly curry and chips or fish or chips or pizza etc. there were 7 lifts at jupiter but you still waited at least 10 mins before you managed to get 1. we were on 4th floor and would have walked as my husband and daughter often did but having a pushchair i had to take the lift which was always a nightmare. the entertaiment was O.K, for kids from the ages 4-10 it was brill with the kids club which provided my daughter with many enjoyable times and on an evening the mini disco was good for this age group too but for teenagers there wasnt anything for them at night and often got fed up. after mini disco it was bingo then a show for adults which when the reps put the show on was usually very good but if they got an act in it wasnt up to much at all i.e elvis impersonater looked and sounded nothing like him and kept forgetting the words even tho he was reading the words from screen! all evening entertainment was outside and it got very cold at night and being by a lake ended up being eaten by mosquitos i have never been bit like it before everybody was covered it bites even young children. think they could have tried alot harder to keep guests entertained it was as tho you had already paid your money there was no reason to try to keep you there to eat and be entertained. definately would not go back.

"happy campers!!!!! 26/05/08 to 09/05/08"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Having just got back from our 2 week stay at the jupiter hotel, we would just like to say it was our most enjoyable holiday for years. The weather did its best to spoil our stay but the entertainment team more than made up for it.
Kids club- Our daughter Sophie attended the MAC club most days for at least 1 of the sessions and loved every minute of it. It was not just a child minding service which from previous experience these types of clubs can be, it was a genuinly fun place to be with excellent organisation and a superb team. Thank you Kate, Conso, Jannine and Kemil. The kids disco each night was great and we're still dancing chu chu au at home!!!!!!!
Food- The food on offer was very good with lots of variety. The restaurant staff were efficient and friendly as were all members of the hotel staff. On a few occasions due to the bad weather the restaurant did become very busy, and queuing bacame necessary but this is to be expected when everyone wants to be inside, the other outside snack bars and burger bars were still open!
Evening Entertainment- The circus stage shows were excellent especially the ones performed by the MAC team, Moulin Rouge being our favourite, and on the MAC teams nights off the other entertainment was equally good.
The activities throughout each day were good fun and really created a friendly atmosphere. Everyone was invited to participate but there was no pressure if you just wanted to relax, which ever you chose you would still witness the dry humour of Terri who kept us all entertained.
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, we will be returning in the future.
Thanks again to the whole MAC team!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Club Marte - saturo and jupiter complex "
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just returned from the Jupiter Hotel on 28th May 08. Hotel great for kids and our second time to this complex. First time last Sept was brilliant, this time however wasn't as good. The weather was really bad, rain and cloudy which spolit the holiday. But worstof all was the mosquitoes. The place was plagued with them. I was bitten badly as was everyone else, even children. As it was raining the floors were very slippery so watch out. On a positive note though the entertainment staff were excellent and the mini and disco and bingo in the arena had a good atmosphere providing you can hack the mosquitoes of course. Macey the hotel mascot was a firm fav of the children. The complex has a lot of greenery and a lake which seems to attract them. Hotel room wasn't as clean as last time and half eaten bread bun greeted us on arrival. My advice is to taken plenty of repellant and its worth the price you pay really with it being all inclusive. Food was fine and drinks great. Ice cream for kids and everyone was friendly - no trouble. Its a family place so not quiet if you want a realxing quiet holiday don't go.

"Butlins in Majorca"
Overall Hotel Rating:
having just returned from a 10 day break at the jupiter saturn i am partly relieved to get back. The main reason for this was the poor weather that we had. However there were one or two things about the hotel that could definately be improved. Even though this was all inclusive towards the end of the holiday we started eatin out more and more. This was partly due to the fact that we were having to queue around 10 mins before we got a table to eat and also the food for small children was quite boring and repetitive. The san miguel beer had to have been watered down. I arent a big drinker at all yet you could drink a barrel full of the stuff and still no effect. The rooms were clean and towels were replaced everyday and the maids were friendly. The other thing we couldnt understand was the lifts stop working at 12.30am so if you have wandered into town like ourselves and have a pushchair then be prepared to carry up the stairs (5th floor for us and others we spoke with were on 8th). It reminded me of Butlins and would hate to see what it was like in peak season, however I suppose it is a cheap all inclusive and you get what you pay for

Overall Hotel Rating:
well what can i say. Having just had a week in this hotel,i don,t think we will be returning.Firstly the food wasn,t up to much, the bedding & towels were not changed the reception staff were not very friendly & because it was the school holidays it was like sunbathing on the london underground it was that busy!. The entertainment team were ok, kept the little kids happy. It was a bit boring for the teenagers. All in all we wouldn,t go back to this hotel again
"pickpockets"
Overall Hotel Rating:
beware of pickpockets, staff should inform you about them,I was robbed of £150 out of my purse while a flower seller was anoying me,she should have been a magician, she was that good I dident realise she had taken it till later on,you also need an interpretor to go to police, which the rep could not supply me with,so they get away with it,otherwise I had a great holiday at this hotel

"Hotel Jupiter / Saturno / Marte Complex review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
i went to alcudia in majorca. i stayed at the jupiter and what a lovely stay it was. i went all inclusive and ate out about twice in my whole stay because the hotel resturant was soo very much excellent. the room was lovely and airy. it had 2 double beds and a spacious bathroom. the balcony was fantastic and the views were of a very high standard. the staff were kind and couldnt do enough to help you. the hotel had its own shop and market place. the entertainment was excellent with a wide choice to keep you occupied. the childrens show were funny and educational which was a bonus. there were shows at night and they were very good. the pool area was close to all the rooms and the pool was kept clean and i would recommend sandles or flip-flops at the side as it could get quite slipery at times. there was also a bar and a small poolside eating area. the food in the poolside eating area was good and the drinks were kept cool as was the eating space. the bar didnt serve anyone who shouldnt be served and the barstaff were so kind and very expearinced. they also had a childrens club which i attented and it was really cool and there was so much to discover and do. i would recommend this resort to a family or a young couple. my only worrys are the hotel arrival time and the bus drivers they can get quite annoyed at the slightest things. thank-you for reading my review and i hope you enjoy your stay at the Jupiter Hotel.

Overall Hotel Rating:
this was our second holiday at this hotel the hotel is lovely in fact all three of them are, the grounds are very clean and the staff are always busy. we wont be going back cause our kids are a bit old now for this hotel but its great for younger kids older kids get a bit bored at night cause really theres not much to do except play pool or listen to not very good clubland singers(no offence to good club singers)each hotel has the smae menus so you can eat in each of them and the food is wonderfull all meat is cooked fresh there is so much choice its amazing.dont miss a meal. you can catch the coach from outside the hotel to the beach for free just leave a tip if you want,or the beach is a fifteen minute walk away past some great shops.the waterpark across the road is worth a couple of days of your holiday and you can even get your hand stamped so you can go back for lunch and then get back in again.if you come out of the jupitor hotel and walk on to the main rd walk staight to the bottom about 15 mins and you can go horse riding. all inc drinks arnt bad but theres no beer and san miguel is the only lager beer and its very gassy. all the staff will help you and if you are not happy with something tell them they will help you.anyway hope you have a good time its defenatly worth a holiday im sure you wont be disapointed as the hotels surroundings are stunning
"Hotel Jupiter / Saturno / Marte Complex review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Well I never!!!! (and will NEVER again)!!
Having had our original hotel changed on the morning we flew out due to it closing early we spent the first 4 days of our week long break at the Club Mac Jupiter Hotel. I must firstly say that I have never ever been so happy to return home after holiday.
We travel as a family of 2 adults, a 12 year old and a 1 year old.
So, where to beginÂ…Â…
Check in was fine, friendly staff, good English spoken and all very straight forward, then problem number one – the lifts – when one eventually arrives (and by the way there are 7 to chose from) you can just about get 4 people in there – shame about fitting in a puchchair and 3 cases too, so sent the others up first and I followed on with the luggage. There is one big lift, so if you’re prepared to wait an age then that’s fine, but I’m sure after a journey with kids all you want to do is get to your room…..
….ah the rooms – a little bigger than the lifts!! Ok slight exaggeration, but they are certainly only big enough if you like living on top of each other. Had to move some furniture into the fairly decent sized bathroom to make enough room to fit in our baby’s ready bed.
The balcony – if you can call it that (only one chair and enough room for one other to stand) – had a ‘wonderful’ view over the hotel bins, the boggy unkempt marsh land and cranes at the back of the hotel – the only saving grace was if you raised your view you could look at the mountains instead.
The complex itself is very large and fairly clean although we were put of by the eggy sewage smell that we kept getting a wiff of as we walked round.
The food – on the face of it the food seemed great, loads of choice and something for all tastes.
Now I believe it could be here that our problems started as on night two we awoke very suddenly to the sound of our one year old throwing up – something that he has never done before even as a very young baby – this continued through the night and the following day brought us the next stage – diarrhoea. Night three was my turn (and for someone who is extremely rarely sick to be this violently ill was awful) and yes, I got stage two too! Morning four, my partners turn and afternoon four our daughters turn! All in all not a great first few days.
Thankfully our holiday company (Alpha Rooms – who I whole heartedly recommend to anyone) managed to get us moved for the last three days of our hols (see my review of the Lagomonte – in fact stay there rather than at the Jupiter!!).
I created a new word to describe the Jupiter ‘chavtastic’. Now I am not a snob and having spent many years going camping, youth hostelling etc have met many people from many walks of life, but never in my times of travelling have I seen so many chavs, degenerates and badly behaved Brits in all my life. Some I’m sure sat around in their fake designer gear or favourite football strip eating from 8am – midnight (which is possible at this hotel), drinking copious amounts of watered down alcohol served by the most miserable bar staff I have ever had the displeasure of being served by!!
My brief experience of the evening entertainment was not favourable either, very poor and being watched by the above said range of people (who I’m sure had been reserving their places all day) crowding out a crappy entertainment/bar area. Oh and a note to those people if you are reading this after returning from your holiday – it is possible to close a hotel room door without slamming it and you don’t have to bang it down and yorp at 4am to attract the attention of whoever is inside to let you in.
The Jupiter is a seriously sub-standard All Inclusive hotel and I would strongly recommend that you spend your hard earned money more wisely and try somewhere else!!
"Hotel Jupiter / Saturno / Marte Complex review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Where do I start!!! Went to this hotel on the recommendation of 1st Choice Rep, Big Mistake. It was absolute bedlam, the noise levels were horrendous.
In general the hotel is clean and the food acceptable, but that's the only good thing about it.
Just imagine 3,000 plus children getting hyper on junk fast food and drinks whilst their parents booze on lager and sangria all day. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against children (some were really lovely) I have had 2 of my own, but everything was aimed at keeping them entertained all day and night. All the entertainment was catered for outdoors (big mistake as it rained 2 nights on the run and just imagine all those people trying to get inside a space made for around 25% of the occupants of the 3 hotels). Pure Chaos!!!
There was no adult entertainment at all really unless you like to do quizes or play Bingo!
Me and hubby escaped to the beach (which is very nice) or into Alcudia at every opportunity. But even then, all the bars cater for those with children or TV Soaps/football/quiz buffs and yes you've guessed Bingo!
We only found 1 bar that played 'grown up' music; the Prince of Wales and children weren't allowed inside after 9pm.
We have decided that we've been there, done that, got the T-Shirt but never again will we go to Majorca.
Very disappointed Couple (we may be in our 50's but we aren't past enjoying ourselves yet).

Overall Hotel Rating:
we have just came back form alcudias club mac hotels we stayed in the mac marte 28th july to 11th august 2007.
the holiday was fab we were worried because we had read a few bad reviews before hand but we were supprised the place (if you have children) was great we took our daughter 12 years old and our friends came with there 6 year old they loved it. the hotel was very clean the food was very good and the snacks in between meal times were on just about all day long for an all inclusive holiday you will not go hungry and the fact that you can use the sister hotels also made things even better.only two downsides but only small were that if someones child had a toilet accident in one of the pools they closed that pool for 24 hours but it doesnt get you down because you have another 7 pools to choose from, also the night time entertainment was not up to much.
you must book a trip to magaluf to see the pirates show it is fantastic its the second time we have been and will go and see it again it cost £162 euros for two adults and one child but worth it, it includes food and drinks ie wine red and white, sangria, pop for the kids. you can purchase beer a jug for £6 euros.
there is a market in alcudia town on a sunday great for knick knacks and a change, a day out only about £5-6 euros in a taxi.we had a good holiday all round alcudia is lovely five times we have been to different hotels but the club mac were the best so far. one more thing if you want a sunbed in a good spot by the pool you will have to get up really early there were towels on beds buy about 7am so good luck but enjoy.
"Hotel Jupiter / Saturno / Marte Complex review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Firstly we stayed at this resort in August which we new would be busy.We had read some bad reviews on the Jupiter Hotel but went with an open mind. Upon arrival at the hotel a lady was complaining to reception regarding an incident with her child who had recieved 6 stiches in his head due to someone bashing him in a wall, she advised us to watch our belongings because there were thieves about, so we got a safety deposit box which cost 16 euros per week.
We arrived in our hotel room at 10pm got something to eat and went to bed slept for literally 30 mins before the slamming of doors and screaming kids along with foul mouthed adults were up and down the corridor, we just assumed that new people like ourselves were arriving and finally got to sleep about 2pm. How wrong we were this happened every night and we had about 5 hours sleep each night. On the floor above us the police were called due to someone fighting (not over a towel on a sunbed!!)
On our first morning we were awoken by slamming and screaming at about 7am had a shower etc. and went down to the sunbeds, there were 2 left, the sunbeds surrounding the Jupiter pool are welded down with a metal bar so you cant move them on the front row, then the rest of the sunbeds are chained and locked up until 8am, people go down and put towels on the floor where they are going to put the sunbeds once they are unlocked where its a mad scrabble with everyone walking around like rows of ants with sunbeds on their heads, we wanted a sunbed at the front so we could keep an eye on our children in the water so for the rest of the holiday we had no choice but to go down at 7am to reserve our beds.
We asked for a low floor and stayed in room 110 overlooking the lake or Swamp and the Saturno pool. We had no privacy as both double beds are in the same room, and there is only one wardrobe for everyones clothes, the bathroom was in desperate need of some cilit bang and the towels needed some glo white. In this complex there are 3 hotels Jupiter, Marte and Saturno they are 9 storeys high and have 60 rooms on each floor so this approx. made 4000 guests, so you can imagine what the pools were like.
On a brighter note and i am struggling to find one,the staff were always freindly, the First Choice reps (Mark and Becky) were lovely, the maid came in to clean everyday you put your towels in the bath if you want clean ones and a please change linen sign (provided)on your bed if you want it changing, the maid came in everyday and we stayed for 7 nights (thank god it wasnt 14) The restaurant is huge, and is more than capable of catering for its guests we never had to queue, you can eat in any of the 3 hotels there is a menu put up at each one in the afternoon so if you dont like what they do at one you can go and check another menu. Breakfast is 8am - 10am, snacks are served from 10am - 6pm at lunch you can use the snack bar in reception or the restaurant 12 - 3pm, dinner is 6pm - 9pm, then snacks 9pm - 12midnight,the bar is very quick at serving. Kids can have slush or a tub of strawberry/vanilla icecream, or help themselves to water, pop etc.
The entertainment starts at 8pm with no First Choice entertainment which we assumed it would be,it is on site spanish reps who do mini disco, bingo, then a professional show which we didnt think catered for our kids age, i.e. Elvis, Bee Gees, Abba by Spanish,so we found alternative things to do. There are courtesy buses which take you to the beach or Port but it is only 15 mins walk away. The beach is lovely with very soft sand the beds are approx. 3.50 euros each with an umbrella, the port is stunning with every shop you can think little bars with tables and chairs in the cobbled streets where you can watch the world go by.
We really arent moaners last year we stayed at Papantnonia, Protaras, Cyprus with First Choice and Kiotari Bay in Rhodes the year before and they were fantastic. But wouldnt go back to Jupiter because everyone really is on another planet.
If you think you can cope with the above, good luck have a nice time and dont forget at night time you will be fine as long as you have more than 10 vodkas and take your earplugs and sleeping pills.
