"summer sun"
Overall Hotel Rating:
It may be a little way from the beach but there is a free bus layed on by the hotel which is frequent and reliable. There is also an evening bus, also free to the port to get those all important souveniers. Its a big complex, 3 hotels in all but its well organised, clean, great food and loads to do for all ages.Just outside there are a few shops and bars which are cheaper than the shop in the complex and the No Frills tour operator is the best port of call for any trips you want to do, island tour is one i would reccommend. The rooms may be a little basic but their clean and comfortable and who cares ? Most of your time is spent out and about anyway, if you must stay in doors there are extra english channels you can watch but there is a small fee to pay for them at reception, so overall, you won't find anything much better, the only problems we encountered were mainly to do with the inconsiderate minority of guests that have no consideration for others when returning to their room in the late hours, disturbing everyone thats trying to sleep, but then you always encounter people like that wherever you go. Some bad reviews we've read on these hotels, in our opinion, must be written by people that don't understand what a family resort is ( if you like Pontins or Haven for example then you'll love it here, except the weather is a whole lot better ! ) or will moan about anything. If you want 5 star service then book a 5 star hotel. At some time things do go wrong, whats important is how quickly its resolved, our air con decided to spring a leak, nothing major mind, informed reception and someone came up to fix it within 15 minutes. Try getting that service back home. So to sum up, if you want a relaxing holiday where the kids can have fun in the pool, get entertained and do as much or as little as you want and not worry about the food ( the restaurant has antibacterial hand wash as you go in, so a big thumbs up on good hygiene practices ) then i would certainly reccommend this place.

"Does what it says on the tin"
Overall Hotel Rating:
A large complex aimed squarley at families with kids on a budget. More of a holiday factory really, but the younger kids loved it. Queues were expected, but short. We had heard all the horror stories but the week we were there the vast majority of families were clean, friendly and just enjoyed themselves. The hotel has no doubt had enough experience to cater for us Greedy Brits, shutting the bars at midnight to stop people getting too drunk and rowdy. Food was OK, more of a canteen than a restaurant but with plnty of choice. If you're the sort to let your kids eat sausage and chips or breakfast covered in chocolate sauce then they can do that, but there's also plenty of salad and international food too. Entertainment just below Butlins in quality.

"Enjoyable family holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Had a great time with my family at the Saturno. We booked a family room and so had plenty of room and didn't encounter any of the issues some have described. In fact, our room was actually very pleasant.
The complex had great facilities and the food was excellent, and there was plenty of variety. We thought the service was excellent and the staff worked very hard, and we were particularly impressed with the childrens club which our young son loved and which was very well run.
The hotel was spotless too, the grounds are very well kept and there is very little litter. A really positive experience and we will definitely go back.

"disappointing"
Overall Hotel Rating:
quality of rooms very poor as wardrobes doors missing as well as brackets to support sides were broken. furiture not matching and very inconsistant. Toilet seat stained and lime scale in pan thick and discoloured. Decoration of rooms and corridors to rooms very inconsistant and a mismatch of colour schemes though the block very eye clashing. Entertainment team worked very hard to keep guests occupied. Staff serving behind bars and fast food areas could be very abrupt and rude but a few tried very hard and came across pleasant. Could only have 4 meals at a time from fast food areas so had to have two members of party queue for meals. All reception areas very welcoming and clean it was the rooms which let the whole experience down. 3 hotels shared complex but only the saturno intitled you to free access to waterpark next door. Other 2 hotels you had to pay although at a reduced rate. Free train ride round lake only operated twice a day. 10am and 3pm . This only went round lake twice. Pedallos were only free from 10-1pm then a payment of 10 euros was enforced. All other rides on complex had to be paid for. TV in rooms but could only be used if paid for in reception at a cost of 3euros per day or 17.50 per week. Excursions was available but was too costly when we had a party of 8 . overall very disappointing and will not be returning to these hotels.

"Very happy indeed!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
An absolutely first rate experience at the Hotel Saturno at Club Mac. We could not have been happier with the facilities, food or service.
The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help. Amazing how they can work for so long with so much energy in that heat.
As many on here have said, the food really is very good. Nicely presented, good variety and really tasty.
The complex is clean and any litter seems to disappear in minutes. Astonishing really considering how many people were on site. There must have been several thousand and yet we never had to wait for a sunbed, never once queued for food and never felt the complex was overcrowded. You would sometimes have to queue for drinks at night but this is to be expected and wasn't an issue.
A very nice holiday and our children in particular had a wonderful time. We will definitely return next year.

"Brilliant Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The whole holiday we had was lovely, dont believe any of the reviews telling you this place is rubbish. We went from 13th July 2010 to 27th July 2010. The hotel gets very busy during peak times such as the summer, this is because there are over 100 rooms between the three hotels on site. There is a site shop which stocks everything from food to googles and everything inbetween, but if you cant find what you need in that shop you can go over the road to the Spar or Euroski shops just over the road from the site. Every day the hotel has a bus running from site to the beach and in the evening a bus from the site to the port, all totally free. There are alot of sports and activites available. The pedalos and kanoes are 5 euros each and the tennis and table tennis are 10 euros.

"Wouldn't go back"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The pool area was kept clean by being washed down everynight but unfortunatly the rooms were a different story, they suggest you put your towels in the bath when you want them changed although the maids just seem to hang them back up (we knew they weren't changed as a couple of our towels had holes or marks on so we were able to tell). The noise that came through from the ceiling vents from our neighbour was terrible we could here every conversation/noise that went on. No one seem to have any consideration for others either what with shouting down the corridors and slamming doors very late at night. When showering the water is either freezing cold or scoulding hot when mentioned to the first choice rep he replied 'yes thats been a problem for a while its an old boiler'. On the plus side the beach bus and port bus are excellent.

"Great customer service"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The level of customer service at the club mac is the best I have ever seen. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it was all done with a smile. Everybody looked happy to be there. The entertainment staff worked so hard to make our holiday just perfect. The amount of hours and dedication they put in really is unbelieveable. Our kids loved them all and joining in with all the different activities on offer. The evening entertainment was really good too. We all loved the girls aloud tribute night. The hotel was immaculate, there was always somebody cleaning somewhere. Our room was kept spotless too, with the towels and bedding changed regulary. Our room was a good size too and we had a great view. We really enjoyed the food and thought it was tasty an varied in particular we enjoyed the aqua night. We also took a trip to Inca market, which was a great day out, especially with twio teenage girls to keep entertained. We would highly recommend the Club Mac to anybody especially those with families.

"Enjoyable Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
3* hotel pay for what you get, stayed in jupiter in a family room. 1 double bed in 1 room & a bunk bed in another room for 2 lads aged 11 & 15.Rooms very basic then again we only spent minimal time in the room.Toilet area very tight with a shower which leaked everywhere,we coped with it.Overall cleanilness of the hotel/rooms was very good couldn't fault the standards. Food was excellant, theme nights everynight plenty of choice for everyone.Bars were always manned efficiently (more resource for our 2nd wk) has the complex got busier.Lads thought the waterpark was ok for a small park.Pool areas got manic in our 2nd wk if you like a lie in it would be difficult to get any beds around any pools,we got beds behind burger bar on the grass everyday.Plenty of activites for everyone, shows at night was a bit disappointing. After 2 wks staying there we all enjoyed it & i would recommend it to all families but not for couples.

"Bit disappointed"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This is a family run hotel and the bars shut at midnight but unfortunately some parents every night never took room keys and decided to carry on drinking. At 2, 3 in the morning they were then banging on doors for up to half an hour trying to gain access to their room. The hotel has 2 sister hotels which are all on top of each other and can get very busy around the pool areas and restaurants etc. The entertainment was very disappointing and we were hoping that our 5 year old daughter could join in mini disco but we had bingo and then another 45 min wait at 10pm for the main entertainment which is quite late. When booking we also got told we had to pay £160 for a family room as our children added together were over 11 years of age. We booked through travel agent and she advised that if we had booked over the internet we would have been called back and charged this additional amount. Everyone we spoke to whilst on holidays booked over the internet and never paid additional charges or had a call so I feel a bit ripped off.

"Aiken family at Hotel Jupiter."
Overall Hotel Rating:
After reading other negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel Jupiter. We found there to be a great selection of food, with always one restaurant open. The toilets were always clean with handwash available. The staff were friendly and very efficient. There was plenty swimming pools with lifeguards, never a problem finding sunbeds despite the hotel being very busy. The complementary shuttle bus to the beach during the day and to the town in the evening was a great hit with our kids. Thoroughly recommend this all inclusive hotel and will return in the future.
