Just returned from the Hotel Molins and after reading the reviews before we went we can only agree with everything. The Hotel was absolutley lovely and the resort was beautiful. Some of the older reviews mention tired furnishings but we didn't see this an...

Ten out of ten. Deffo going back!
I was initially apprehensive before visiting the Hotel Simar in early June 2008, due to the disparaging comments that I had read on this and other websites. I needn't have worried. I really cannot compliment enough the levels of service, cleanliness, and ...

This is a small village, mainly apartments, few hotels ,couple shops, few restaurants. Beautiful setting along the sea front ,among the mountains. Little available to do in evening other than hotel entertainment. Bus service is limited, approx six buses per day out of Cala San Vicenc.Taxi service available, 12 euros plus tip to Puerto Pollensa (1.10 euro each on bus), and from there buses are available to many more locations, eg Alcudia old town every 15 minutes. Bus to Palma costs 5.50 euros each, takes about an hour, well worth seeing. From Cala San Vicenc there is a bus at approx.10.10am that goes to Port de Soller, again takes about an hour and a half, but goes through beautiful mountain scenery, and is a lovely option for a bad weather day. It cost less than 25 euro, return for the two of us, and was truly memorable. From Port de Soller you can take the tram to Soller,(3 euro each) a lovely journey, and at Soller , a lovely Mallorcan village,it is possible to take the train to Palma (the trai is lovely, about 100 years old with wooden carriages, adapted for electricity.
Hotel is of typical 3 star standard, but has a lovely location-very quiet, great views in locality. Ideal for those who like a restful holiday-not much locally in the way of shops or entertainment.Hotel staff in general good, reception staff inclined to be a...

Cala San Vicente is a very small resort and extremely quiet. It suited us because we like to swim and walk and are not bothered about evening entertainment, I think there was live music in the hotel some evenings, but we ate out and did not use the hotel bar. The only downside was the lack of restaurants, while we were there only three were open. The walk to Puerta Pollensa is very worth tackling, we did it twice and came back on the bus. Also a visit to Pollensa is a must, there are five buses a day.
Have just returned from a week at the Hotel Molins. The hotel has a superb position at Cala Molins. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the beach and the view was fantastic. There was a bottle of cava and a basket of fruit to welcome us, also a waite...
