Camp de Mar is a lovely resort. It isn’t too big, the beach is lovely and it is peaceful and relaxing at night. There is a good mix of nationalities there, some good restaurants and some good shops. We would go back.

Very friendly staff on arrival. Room good overlooking the bay, pool area. Very clean. Kettle and cups/saucers in the room but no coffeee/tea facilty despite this being promised in the original brochure. No reply to e-mails from Thompson Gold services complaining of this. Sunbed reserving still a nusiance -Brtts mainly! Night time entertainment fairly basic unfortunately. Daily games were fun and a great way to meet people. Sunbeds on the beach not free - 4 euros per day. The island restaraunt advertised in the brochure is not part of the hotel as you might think. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food quite good, occasional champagne at breakfast time! Local spanish dishes on offer as well. Local bus cheap and easy to use. Went to Palma to catch the train to Soller. Bus return to Palma cost 8 euros 10 cents. Soller train was 17 euros return. Saved a fortune doing it this way as Thomson were gong to charge 59 euros each!! Local supermarket useful around the side of the hotel to purchase water, snacks. Pharmacy next door which was handy. A tube of eye ointment cost just 2 euros 20 cents!! Hotel may be losing its Gold status if they do not improve the entertainment. A relaxing week despite everything and very hot - 36 - 42 c. Thankfully Spain won the world cup during our week so free champagne all round! Thompson staff oK - difficult job. One member failed to turn up to guide us to the next village on a walk - no phone call and little effort by other staff to contact them. Found our own way in the end.

Camp de Mar is a lovely little resort, beautiful beach. There isn't much to do there which is nice, it is very relaxing. It is fine though because the hotel has entertainment that is very good, so you won't be bored in the evening.

Lovely little resort. Quiet and not too busy. Great holiday. Some nice walks around and also not far from a really nice harbour (Port Andratx) and also Peguera, which is great for shops and restaurants.

picked resort because of the quiet nature and was not disapointed,mostly quiet but great bus route ,car hire bit expensive though

The resort is very quiet & remote with just a handful of bars & restaurants. So no banana rides or paragliding across the bay. But it is visited by many pleasure boats to various destinations along the coast. It also has a golf course. The sandy beach is quite clean although we did notice a drop in water quality in the bay in July 2009

Lovely resort, quiet beach. There are a few shops and a couple of bars plus a golf course but not much else. Thats what makes it so good though, and relaxing.

Lovely little resort, very relaxing. Brilliant golf course nearby as well. The perfect half term break, we returned feeling refreshed.

Camp de Mar is a good base to go walking from. If this was a purely beach holiday we went on I imagine it would be a bit boring as there is little to do, however the small bay is gorgeous.

This resort is suited to couples or those with young children. Older children would get bored very quickly.

For us it was just what the doctor ordered. Nice and peaceful with no lager louts or chavs.

The only problem was where there had been lots of unsettled weather there was a lot of seaweed which tended to smell a bit in the evening. Either that or the drains needed emptying out!

The main beach was lovely and clean though. We used to love to go out early in the morning and watch the cormorants catching their breakfast.

The two hour boat trip is well worth it - try to go on the boat with glass panels so you can see the fish. You can book a trip at one of the kiosks in the main street.

There are regular buses which run to Porto Andratx. This is a nice little resort well worth a visit to see the posh boats. The buses also run all the way to Palma via Peguera and Santa Ponsa. There are also quite a few taxis available as well.

A tiny resort with a few hotels and bars and a brilliant bakery/coffeeshop .No loud music or atmosphere to speak of .Hole 19 bar run by the amiable Charlie was my favourite as he played music and showed the premiership games on Sky .If you want to sit in the sun and do nothing this is the place for you

the sea is littered with garbage. the resort is populated with germans and the spanish, neither of whom seem pleased to see a british person. the beach is small and crowded. the overall feeling is one of hostility.

Small and beautiful, none of the mass market ugliness associated with Majorca. Only a couple of bars and restaurants, but they are really good. There is also a small supermarket and a handful of shops. Lovely beach, I recommend it for couples and honeymooners.

Although it is a very small and quiet resort, the astounding views definitly make up for the lack of activity. The resort is perfect for those wanting a peaceful, relaxing holiday or those who don't want a lot of walking to do. It is not too far from some bigger resorts with more shops and bars (Paguera is only a 5 minute bus ride away or a 2 mile walk). The beach was extremely clean although often very busy, and the sea was crystal clear. I particularly liked the bar in the sea and it formed the focal point of many wonderful scenic photographs. It is a beautifully idyllic spot that has to have the best views in Majorca.

A small but beautiful, idyllic resort with breathtaking views, lovely clean beach clear turquiose blue sea ideal for all ages and families. Small selection of shops incuding a bank, newsagents, boutique, gift shops and one Spar shop which obviously charged much more than the supermarkets in Paguera, Andraitx, Santa Ponsa - the Cava was twice the price of supermarkets in other resorts as were other items as there was no competition and no where else to purchase food items in the resort it was worth the busfare to go to nearby reorts to buy items !!!!!
