Lovely safe beach, but very jealous of all of the fantastic boats that moor just off the shoreline.

What a fantastic place! Just returned after 2 weeks of sheer relaxation, but a word of warning, go on a diet before checking in as the food is so good and there are so many choices that I defy anyone to resist - Diego and his excellent team have a lot to a...

after a cruise it was fantastic place, but thomson really do need to make all their Gold Hotels the same standard of entertainment, and they should all have a full production team that works there day and night, not a team that only visits one or two nights, the Yaramar has to be used as an example of good entertainment, or the ships they are just brilliant.

Camp de Mar itself is very quiet with only about 3 or 4 shops and so it was a good job there was entertainment at the hotel as it would be quite a boring place for a holiday otherwise. We hired a car and drove to Magaluf for a day and it just seemed so seedy and dirty in comparison that we were glad to get back to our lovely hotel! The thing I liked about Camp de Mar is that you aren't likely to get noisy yobbos and can get a good night's sleep ready for the next day's entertainment at the hotel!

Camp de Mar is a beautiful little haven for a get away from it all chilled holiday. Very close to Paguera and Santa Ponsa if you want something a little livlier in the evening. There are about 7 restaurants, a number of bars, a bank, small spar shop and a few other shops. Nowhere to buy cigarettes for the smokers, and the spar shop is expensive for your everyday items. The Arco Iris at the far end of the bay is a very good place to eat. The 19th Hole a friendly bar. And the bar on the little island is just great for a late afternoon drink after a hard day sunbathing. The beach is lovely, and very sheltered, we went in May, and thought that this was an ideal time to go as the resort has 4 pretty large hotels in it, and I dont believe the resort would be big enough to comfortably take all those holidaymakers at the height of the season. A truly great place, would go back tomorrow

The Villa Real is a well established hotel that has recently undergone refurbishment to convert to self catering units. The work hadnt been fully completed when we were there, and wasnt to an excellent standard, but I will always base my reviews on the cos...
