Magaluf Holiday Reviews

Magaluf is a very nice resort. We have been before in the summer, but never before out of season. Most things are closed, but there are a few restaurants and bars open, as are some of the shops. But the weather is mild and pleasant and the hotel has entertainment.

Magaluf is a very nice resort. Lovely promenade you can walk along, very pleasant when the sun is out. There are a few places open showing the premier league. Came home very relaxed, and it was nice weather.

Magaluf is a great resort for a short break - the beach is lovely for a walk, and so long as the sun is out it is pleasant to sit there reading the paper. Weather in December isn't always so good though, so probably worth staying somewhere with activities during the day.

Everyone knows about this resort. Is Blackpool in the sun but cheaper!

Beaches are amazing and some nice bars. If you want a taste of the real Spain, avoid the resort!

Cheap and cheerful

Resort is fantastic!! Everything you need and want is all within walking distance from the hotel and so easy to find. Bars and clubs are normally open until 6 in the morning so no need to go out early it usually best to go out around 11-12 as thats when places start to get busier. If your in a group you do seem to get better offers especially when going up the strip but even as a couple we were getting free shots and glasses of cocktails in the pubs & bars. Its definately worth looking round for drinks prices as we did find some at 1 Euro 50 a pint but some were much more expensive. BCM & Pirates are musts especially the Pirates Uncut version so much swearing and everyone getting drunk.

Good nightlife just a shame about the hotel and the police not helping out. Beaches are lovely, but there is a grumpy spanish guy with te pedelos, dont think he wanted to work just wanted to top up is tan.

pubs are excellent and good time in alex and linekers.

From what we saw of the resort it was nice. Palms Nova is close by and has plenty of bars and places to eat

Nice resort with quite a few shops and bars, though some are beginning to close for the winter now. Lovely beach, nice weather. Really can't fault it.

Magaluf is a brilliant place, something for everybody, lively enough for teeenagers and party goers at one end but still lively for 40 ish year olds at the other. Lovely and clean, also quiet pubs for the gran and grandads to have a tipple. Will definately return. Though eating out has become expensive I guess its the same all over spain.

excellent resort. beaches are perfect nightlife is the best and food is best prices i've ever came across. There is a excellent cafe called BereBere just off the strip please go there for breakfast, you will enjoy it

We liked magaluf, there is a lot there to do. lots of bars, shops, arcades etc. lovely beach! the weather was great in early october.

nice beach, lots of bars, brilliant really! able to watch the premier league and champions league too, just what you need!

we've been to magaluf many times over the years, i can really recommend it in april/may or late september/october as the weather is lovely but not too hot and the youngsters aren't out in such force. loads of good bars.

The resort is very much split in two. Along the beach strip is lovely & quiet with nice eating places. 10 minutes away is the madness that can be Magaluf but it is good to choose what you prefer. The boat trip to Palma was a good investment as you got the boating experience plus a days shopping

Magalluf is a little tacky but then there is plenty to do, and there are lots of pubs showing football and rugby. Nice beach and promenade though, especially if it is sunny.
