Magaluf is a good place to go for your holiday if you just want a good week of sun and aren’t too bothered about culture. Although it is quite high rise and there are lots of people around, it is a nice place and the beach is superb. There are so many good English bars and karoke for the evening!

The restort overall is amazing, fantastic, brilliant, clean, friendly, addictive, awesome - getting the picture lol - the beaches are the best ive ever seen, they are very particular and keep the resort spotlessly clean even after the idiots have spilt drinks, vomited on pavements etc the next day it is cleaned up. Tom Browns the best place to eat, Happy House on the beach is good, Lush Bar is friendliest bar, good prices, music, so much to do for everyone, banana boat, floating boats, paragliding, bungee, etc - Pirates is an amazing night out for all the family, Son Amar is out of this world and defo worth a trip - you wont be disappointed, the water parks are fantastic - a whole day out - brill rides etc. so much to do. Palma Market on a saturday - Caves of Drach, Inca Market etc etc you need to spend 6 weeks here to do it all - i wish. !!

Magaluf is of course party central so if you are travelling with young children then most bars are not interested in your business although there is toms browns and many other restaurants suitable for takin kids along too.

Magaluf is the place to be , Id reccomend Crystals Bar , Bonkers , Lush , Bomerangs , Bar29 , TokioJoes , The Office & Icon Bar for Fishbowls!Oh and most of all BCM whenever djs are doing it was at Tiesto and he was OUTSTANDING had the place ripped up!

Eating out Id reccomend DelBoys , Wee Magees & Marias I think it was called.

Magaluf & PalmaNova beaches are gorgeous although I think its abit mad at the price of sunbeds and the people selling things would just melt your head coming around every 5secs whenever you told them NO at the start.

Magaluf is designed for party animals, and that only. I never saw any children whilst spending my summer holiday here, which tells you something. I recommend getting a Magaluf Club Pass which can enable you entry into clubs such as Bananas, Boomerangs, Tokio Joes and others which normally charge you 12 euros on the door. It saves money. BCM is the best club experience, and actually good value for money. You pay 25euros on the door and you receive free gifts such as t-shirts, lilos, chains, hats, beach towels etc.. and you get unlimited drinks all night. The music is good and they usually show stars such as Roll Deep, Aggros Santos and others. On a downside, you do get men who refer to tourists as 'chicken nuggets' or 'dell boy' whom sell cheap junk and invade your personal space when out, they also rip you off so steer clear from them. As for prostitutes, the hiss at you and are the most vile things i have ever seen, again keep away. Magaluf is party haven, sooooo good for young people!

Magaluf is a good resort for a family holiday. The beach is very nice and perfectly safe, the kids love playing down there. In the centre, there are lots of family friendly bars and restaurants, and quite a few arcades too.

Of course, the first half of our day was made up of sleeping for the majority of the time, but when we did awake, which wasn't TOO late due to the warmth, and the annoying hum of the ceiling fan, our first choice was often to head down to the beach. However, we weren't too repetitive - on a couple of days we made our way into Magaluf using the competitively priced taxi service, to go to places such as "Western Water Park" and "Karting Magaluf" - one being an incredible water park suitable for all the family, and with some nerve-jangling rides, such as "The Beast", which was literally just a sheer drop - not for those of a nervous disposition. The go-karting place, which was merely down the road from the water park, was a little expensive, but good fun on some fairly nippy karts - according to my lap sheet I clocked a top speed of 65km/h - and those were on the 2nd fastest type of kart available. Other daytime activities include your traditional seaside resort entertainments such as crazy golf or banana boat rides. There's also plenty of market stalls and off licences for people to walk around and take a look in - although many are similar and after a while, you think you've seen them all!

One night out that I must recommend before going on about the clubs and pubs is "Pirates" - there are two shows, one suitable for all the family, and one dubbed as the 'uncut' version. It basically blends world class acrobatics, thrilling gymnastics and breathtaking dancing to produce an excellent show to watch and take part in. Food and drink is also included during the show (when I say drink, it was only sangria for us - which we decided was simply the worst drink ever invented!!!) As for a price, I'm not entirely sure as we signed up to it during the talk with our reps on the first night, along with a number of other things such as entry into the Water Park, but www.piratesadventure.com is their offical website - it will give details on prices and more there!!

So what about the nightlife?? Well Palma Nova has a few bars, but no real nightclubs, but some of the late-night bars have English Dj's playing, however, we never spent a night there, instead, as should be the case, we went into Magaluf for the pubs and clubs....

Firstly I should point out that all but a few of the bars and clubs are situated on "The Strip" - one single road based on a hill in magaluf. The story goes that people should try and start at the bottom and work their way up to the top - if they did that, they could very well die of alcohol poisoning by the end of it!!! On a couple of the nights, we went on organised outings with our tour group - although the term 'pub crawl' is apparently outlawed in Magaluf, so they just named the days we went out, such as 'Naughty Sunday' for example.

May is a good time to go to Magaluf as the main youngster season isn’t quite in full swing so it is a bit quieter. Having said that where we stayed it is quiet at night anyway. The beach is nice and has a good promenade to walk along. Plenty of bars in the resort showing British TV, didn’t need to set the recorder for Eastenders!

Dear Magaluf goers, as an 18 year old party animal i will answer some F.A.Q.s for you ;) 1. Is everyone after sex? Yes. Every boy you meet in any of the clubs wants to have sex with you. Sex sells in magaluf trust me! 2. Are there fights constantly? No. i didn't see one fight. Although i spoke to a few blokes who had been attacked by the prostitutes so be careful boys! 3. Average price of a drink? It really does depend on what you drink. A vodka redbull can set you back about £6 on the strip. A lot of bars offer 2 for 1 on select nights which is always a plus. If you can, get on a bar crawl! You pay about €10 and get free shots in every bar and free or discounted entry into the clubs. A good night out and a great place to meet people who wanna do the same thing as you- GET BATTERED! 4. Best club? BCM. Wihout a doubt. Bonkers is good, tokyos is good, bananas is good. But paying €25 for a ticket to bcm aswell as millenium and the bcm bar with free drinks and a free gift every night! 5. Dress code? DO NOT wear heels. i made a mistake of packing 4 pairs of heels and i wore them on the first night and it was a massive mistake! The whole strip is on a hill which is just badtimes :( Overall, an excellent place!
