resort was great. would highly recommend it. lots of shops restraunts and bars with a nice clean beach.

resort ok. average. beaches clean. glad to see mcdonalds as our hotel food not good. magaluf looked dirty and wouldnt go here late at night. some lovely bars but expensive.

We like Palma Nova. It is nice and close to Magalluf if we want to go somewhere a bit more happening, but has lots of nice restaurants and a nice beach itself.

The best bit about this resort is the beach and promenade. There are 2 gorgeous beaches of soft sand with a long promenade along the length of resort with many bars and restaurants. Good access to other parts of Majorca including Palma and neighbouring resorts with an excellent regular bus service. The days were great in the resort spent on the beach and having lunch in one of the snack bars. Evenings were very different and we were quite bored. There were quite a few bars etc but very little entertainment. Unlike many other Spanish resorts there were hardly any shops except the usual tacky shops. Apart from Lacoste in Magaluf and 1 perfumary in Palma Nova there was nothing and I quite like browsing the shops in the evening. For this and the boredom factor I won't be back but the resort is very clean and nothing particularly wrong with it. I do have to praise the staff in the resort for the way they managed the hurricane whilst we were there (see my hotel review of Hotel Mirlos) ensuring they got the resort back to normal as soon as possible.

I have been to palma nova a few times now and I never tire of the place lots to do and see both in plama nad magluf would recomed golf fansia and aquarim as well as water park and piartes. Nightlife is one of the best in magluf with lots of pubs and clubs for all!!

We stayed at the Don Bigote in september. The beaches are excellent and clean. The area in general is very clean. It is only 30 mins from the airport. We went to palma on the bus and was surprised how much the buses had improved with electronis dsirection boards and punctual services, with the bus terminus being underground and close to rail links. We went to soller on the rickety train by bus with no prfoblems. The bars and restaurants in the area had plenty of offers for both food and drink. Amigos bar facing ther Don Bigote was the best we have ever been food, Drink and service excellent with really frirndly staff. The only bad thing I had was at the upstairs Cabaret bar on just before the Fantasia golf where the elderly english owner gives leaflets and telling us the cabaret comes on at 10.30 but does not start till 11.45 trying to keep you there paying 10 euros for 2 drinks I would not reccomenbd this bar. Like many others we walked out.

The resort is fantastic we have been here a few times before and would go back again. There is plenty to do in Palma Nova and the beach is wonderful There is good nightlife but it is slightly better a short distance to Magalluf where you will find the strip and BCM a fantastic night club

great beaches very suitable for pushchairs wheelchairs etc love the place will def. return magaluf just around the corner if your a nightowl and so close to the airport especially if travelling with children

Get youselves to the BCM & Boomerangs completely loved both of them like , only thing I would have to say bad about Magaluf was the weather as we went in September and its usually a chance you take but ohwell was a brilliant overall holiday anyways! returning this year for my 21st cant wait!

nice beach perfect for beach cricket! quite a few supermarkets for stocking up on cheap booze, and walkable from maga so no need for a taxi. bit of a long walk though, gives you time to sobre up!

I love Palma Nova. i will definately return to palma nova once i find a more suitable apartments to stay at! the beaches are nice, a nice quiet resort. do go to the el mecca, they are lovely, we have eaten there for 3 years and it's th only place we will eat, the staff are so lovely and always remember us, they loved the kids and the kids loved them, the food is great and the prices have never changed in the last 3 years. Do go and see the pirates show in magaluf.. we went for the 1st time.. worth every penny.. an absolutely fantastic show, we will defiantely go again

palma nova is a great place to stay, its within walking distance to the night life of magaluf but far enough away to get a peaceful nights sleep. beautiful beaches to choose from, loads of shops, restaurants & bars.

Beautiful resort, very clean, beautiful beaches lots to do for families as well as the young and lively.

Very clean beaches - perfect for long evening strolls and days spend lounging on the sunbeds! Cheap hire of on-beach sunbeds and umbrellas with a full range of beach activities available (banana boat etc). Good range of restaurants and (despite being next door to Magaluf) surprisingly quiet. Only downside was the recent bombing (happended across from our hotel whilst having lunch) which could have happended anywhere in Spain!

great resort beaches lovley plenty to do always feel safe here.we have been coming here since kids were toddlers and never seen or had any bother a great family resort for all ages prices about what you would pay at home with present exchange rate 1.12 to the pound for most things but we aint got the weather or warm sea.
