We just returned from a week in Spain here and everything was super there. I don't have any complaints. Whiners should just stay at home. We'll return there. It was great there, the food, the personnel, everything.

Overall Hotel Rating:
Having just returned from palmanova staying in Hotel Bermudas.booked through teletext, went in to local travel agents for some information on the hotel, travel agents had never heard of this accomodation. The reason beign is the hotel name has change to Ola Bermudas.
As for entertainment it was diabolical and the food was made to suit all the French and Spanish guest.
There were 3 guys and 1 girl from Beligum who called them selves the entertainments team which was a joke.
There were 4 of us on hoilday together and we were the only Scottish guest stay at the hotel not even any English, what made matters worse we were ALL-INCLUSIVE,so basicily we were handcuffed to the place for 1 week, having to make conversation with each other as none of the other guest could speak english.
So guess who will not be going back to Hotel Bermudas or Ola Bermudas again ?.
Yes us.

Overall Hotel Rating:
We booked this holiday as a last minute deal at lastminute.com two days before we went. For the price and lateness of the booking, we didn't really expect too much.
HOTEL: First inpressions of the hotel were good, although the lift doesn't fit more than me and my suitcase! Luckily we were on the 2nd floor so it wasn't much of a problem, but i didn't envy those on the 5th floor!
Our room was very big, very clean and plenty of wardrobe space. We had one of the rooms that is opposite Banana Joes, so the music was blaring. Many people wouldn't like this, but we loved it. Families were intentionally placed on the other side of the hotel, where you don't get any noise.
The resturant was ok. There wasn't much for kids though. The adult's food was lovely (as long as you didn't go right at the end), with lots of variety. In the space of three days we saw 6 differnt types of chips! Deserts were nice, and there was watermelon everyday!
The bar prices weren't that cheap, but it's the same everywhere since the Euro came into effect.
The evening entertainment was poor. It was one girl doing the same thing every night, and even the kids there thought it was rubbish. One night they had a magician, but he was awful. He spend half an hour on the old knot in a piece of string trick.
The swimming pool area was nice and clean, but the swimming pool itself was unbearably cold. We would only go in it late afternoon, because then it had warmed up a bit with the sun, and even then it hurt when you got in!
Plenty to do instead though; table tennis, fruit machines, pool, arcade games.
The staff seemed very friendly, although to be honest, we didn't really have any need to talk to them.
RESORT: Palma Nova is lovely. The beaches are big, clean and with incredible views. Magaluf is right next door; you don't know where magaluf starts and Palma Nova ends.
The nightlife was brilliant. If you do go out in Palma Nova/Magaluf, take a trip to BCM's, it's definatly worth it.
Thankfully, the ticket touts that try to get into their bars all have to wear illuminous vests now, so you can run when you see them coming!
Banana Joes, opposite Hotel Bermudas, was one of the best bars I've been to. It was lively, but not too crowded, played a great variety of music, and a pint of Vodka and RedBull was only 4 Euros!
Overall, we had a great holiday, and i would definately go back there, but probably not to the same hotel. Hotel Bermudas was good, but they definately need air conditioning!

Booked as a very late deal but we were very happy with what we got.
Hotel is very clean and didn't smell as some people have wrote. Maid service was every day and food was excellent.
this hotel is perfect for families with small children as entertainers are young and rather giddy. All entertainment is aimed for children but parents do get involved in games and shows. I think they only have entertainment until sep as one of them said he was going home in 2 weeks. There is no air conditioning but they did tell us it will be fitted for next year. We will definately go back cos we didn't get to see any of mallorca as the kids never wanted to leave the very clean pool in the day and the disco/entertainment at night. overall we had a wonderful holiday.

The Good
The hotel's location was central 2 mins from beach, shops, restaurants and 10 mins from Magaluf (walking. The hotel itself very smart and clean inc the pool, the rooms were big with lots of storage, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the food was nice and the buffet had lots of variety.
The Bad
There was no air conditioning in the rooms or the corridors and this made the rooms stifling, so much so most people slept on their balconies (which were large enough to put two mattresses on), one side of the hotel faces a bar called Banana Joes which although closes its windows at 12.00 you can still here the music (but you do get used to it). The pool often got crowded and taken over by the advents that were going on (kids club /water polo) and there was never any sun loungers after 10am as they were all taken!
Summary
Overall I enjoyed my holiday and time at this hotel I would have been quiet happy to stay in this hotel again but without the heat being as bad as bad as it was
(45 +) at that temperature and no air con all the other bad factors of the hotel annoyed you more and I don't think I couldn't have bared it there longer than a week.

Overall Hotel Rating:
We have just returned from a fourteen night stay at this hotel and i would like to make the following points.
The location is excellent and the hotel itself is pleasant and clean with an excellent poolside area .However i have to say that in 25 years of visiting Spain and Majorca the quality of the food served in this hotel is without doubt the worst we have ever experienced. In terms of selection and choice and in the fact that the food was invariably cold, and served to put a damper on our enjoyment,so much in fact that on many occasions we chose to dine out.
The entertainment was a paltry affair also and there was really nothing to tempt us to stay in the hotel during the evening

Resort:very clean and tidy but not a lot for the kids to do, only 10mins walk from magaluf, plenty of bars and shops.
Beach:lovely, clean, spacious, excellent.Hotel:as said in other reports without air con it is a killer, i mean it is really really bad, everyone i spoke to were all of the same opinion, you can hire fans which we did 50euros for 2 weeks, but they do not make a lot of difference. The food is ok with a good selection though not for kidsthe restaurant is uncomfortably hot.
The entertainment though not brilliant was good they try to involve everyone and have a laugh even if some people do sit there with long faces. In the main the staff are polite end friendly. The drinks are expensive but it seems the norm now it is the euro. The pool is cleaned everyday as are the rooms.
Last but not least the sunbed run, absolute nightmare the doors dont open till 9 oclock to get a bed you need to start queueing at 8 ,nightmare.
would not be in my top ten places to return to,having said thet we had a really good time coz thats what you do on holiday isnt it?

Overall Hotel Rating:
Arrived in Hotel to find out that Direct Holidays had cancelled the Creche and Kids Club - they didn't inform me and infact sent me a coupon stating that my children had free entrance to the kids club - what a bad start. The room, although not air conditioned, was large enough for the 4 of us plus a cot, with 2 double beds, a cot and a couch with still plenty of room. The lift was extremely small and could only fit me, the buggy plus one small other.
The meals, although fine for the adults, were poor for the children - not enough, if any, choice. Getting a drink from the restaurant waitresses was difficult. Most tables were set for 4 people - since there was 5 of us I always had to go for more cutlery. The waitress, rather than give me the last 2 knives and forks, set them on an empty table and was most displeased when I said that I needed these to eat my meal.
The hotel did lay on a children's club - 2 very nice ladies, Anya and Elis, ran this at 11am and 4pm each day. Bram, a 17 year old male, ensured the sports areas were fulfilled and organised water polo, pool, tennis etc. They organised a mini-disco at 8.30pm, 9pm crazy game for kids, 9.30pm bingo, 10pm show (occasional professional one) - EVERY night was the same routine though - but the kids liked it. It as basic, but gave me some time to relax since the kids were happy.
Overall, we had a good holiday, but have been to better places.

Im not quite sure what some people look for on holiday but this hotel and resort had it all lovely food friendly staff and easy reach into Magaluf if a you are looking for a little bit of bizz, great sound proofing in the rooms I never heard any noise after 12 at night when everyone who wishes to party goes inside the music bars. You have to be up around 9 to 9.30 if you want a sunbed but i think that is a pretty reasonable time to be going down to breakfast so just take your towels and kill 2 birds ...
COMPLAINT....No Airconditioning very hot at night.....(but hey you are on holiday if you want it cool stay at home)

"Hotel Bermudas review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have stayed at the Bermudas many times before, mainly because of the excellent meals and friendly staff, and the Hotel still has these, but, we will not be returning.
The public areas of the Hotel have just been refurbished very nicely and a ramp has now been installed. The money would have been better spent on putting air conditioning or at least ceiling fans in the rooms as they are really unbearably hot. We hired 2 fans and were still unable to cool the room down at all.
The hotel always used to have a nice mix of nationalities, couples of all ages and families, but the week we were there it was SWARMING with mainly British kids some of who were completely out of control (especially at meal times), making life uncomfortable for other guests. It now seems to focus on on families exclusively.
The restaurant was understaffed and we were usually more than halfway through our meal before we could order drinks. There does seem to have been a general cutback on staff this year.
Banana Joes is opposite the hotel, so ask for a room overlooking the swimming pool to avoid most of the noise which goes on until the early hours of the morning.
The food as usual was beautifully cooked, the chef is a star, but the quality was wasted on some of our fellow guests and their children because it was not British enough.
Palma Nova is a nice enough place and near enough to easily get to Palma which is well worh visiting.
