Sa coma is lovely for families and couples. We stayed at bouganvilla park which is a 20 min walk athough the train does operate during the day. Due to the high value of the euro. eating out is now expensive. although there are a large selection of restaurants to choose from. A beer now averages £3.00 and a coke £2.00 . A coffee and cake £3.00. The beach is sandy and neighbouring Sillot has loads of rockpools for the kids to explore. Activities are expensive the 54 hole mini golf is 12 euros per person. soon mounts up for a family of 4 £45.00.

"Majorca the place for everyone"

Overall Resort Rating:

Very Good

Open quote

Almost all holiday resorts in Majorca are an excellent holiday choice for a wide range of people with different wants and needs. For those who like to be pampered there are an excellent array of hotels with high quality services positioned on golden beach front locations. For families there are many fun and exciting days out to be had that will keep the attention of the most demanding of children. For young adults there is a great clubbing scene and tradition on the island to get your groove on. For those looking for a chilled out beach holiday, Majorca ticks all the boxes: great hotels, great activities, great food and great beaches. All for a reasonable price!

"Lack of live entertainment"

Overall Resort Rating:

Good

Open quote

Cut through apartments adjacent and beach is only 2 minutes away! A bar that does good food is JJs bar and restaurant. Crepes from stand on corner are really nice too! Mr M's Music bar we found best value for drinks. However there is a distint lack of entertainment in the evenings at the resort (Too many tribute bands, not enough talent!) ok if you only want a few relaxing drinks in the evening.

We took a short walk along the beach front to S'illot to go to the beach, it was much quieter than the sa coma beach. Just walk down to the beach, and walk right, keep walking past the Mega Garden and over the bridge. We also walked to the castle - not sure of the name! Exit the vista badia via the gate at the bottom of the swimming pool, turn left, and then cross at the crossing directly opposite the dirt track and sign for the castle. Was a nice 20/30 minute walk. Many people hired bikes and rode up. They have a nice cafe/bar there and we needed a drink by the time we got there!! The english were catered for 3rd behind German holiday makers and spanish, outnumbered 80-20 %!!!! However, Sa Coma was the perfect first family holiday abroad for us, quick 2 hour flight, followed by a 1 hour coach jounrey and you are at a lovely pool, fab beach and beautiful weather. We had a fantastic time, but probably won't return, as our hearts lie in Tenerife.

The only issue we had with the resort was that there was a lot of cigarette ends on the beach. There is plenty to do and access to other resorts is easy and not too far away.

Good for going out as there are so many choices of bars and restaurants - the beach was pretty good. not the best beach but not the worst either. If you are in a group this is a great place to go as it has everything you would need to holiday and stay up until 730 in the morning

Sa Coma is a very quiet resort, found that we struggled to find anywere decent to have a nice meal, if you do go here, go and have a lovely breakfast at THE DUG OUT, they are a fabulous couple from St Helens (Cheshire) which is just up the road from us, Really make you feel welcome and the service is excellent, we went there everyday and just loved it. I would advise that you take a stroll right along to the end of the prom into Silot. Go across a little wooden bridge, and its a different world altogether, very quaint with lots of restaurants. Unfortunately we didnt find out about this till our last night and it was only because the lovely couple from The Dug Out told us.
