Didn't really like Santa Ponsa in all honesty. It is a bit run down, all the shops sell absolute tack, and without wishing to sound racist it was full of Scots and Irish (probably the wrong sort) just drinking heavily and being rowdy, with all the bars catering to such tastes. The beach is ok though.

Great beach, good balance of shops nightlife, looked clean out and about. easy to get to. I would recommend this place to just about anyone.

wow.... this is what I call a resort! 3rd viist to Santa Ponsa and we´ll go back because we can never get tired of this resort. try it for yourself and you´ll also love it .... but please don´t be one of those that reserve sunbeds!

The resort of Santa Ponsa itself was very quiet when we were there, the drinks prices aren't really that cheap and food is definitely not cheap we went self catering and ended up spending more that way buying groceries, eating out is not too bad but you need to be careful where you go I didn't have any great meals that blew me away. The place in general is quite hilly so if you aren't able bodied it can be tricky, it does however have a really nice beach.

Santa Ponsa is one of the best holiday resorts in the world with plenty of things to do for all ages.

The Beach and surrounding area of Santa Ponsa is beautiful. If you have families stay away from the strip, as this is for young Lads and Lassess drinking till they couldn't drink anymore. The smell of sick and the sight of broken plants pots was not for me and my family. if you go stay near the beach or the surrounding areas.

We have just returned from a fortnight in Santa Ponsa, and had a very nice time, but it seemed a little quieter than it would normally be in August. There were plenty of bars near our hotel, especially Irish bars, and although there were one or two which were always busy, there were lots more with hardly anybody in. Having said that, we were only normally out til approx 11.30pm, so may have livened up later on, as there were quite a few groups of youngsters about. Didn't see any rowdiness, and resort is family friendly. If you walk a little further out, there are lots of restaurants etc which are aimed more towards families. Lots of people there with young children. Various bouncy castles etc around the place. We were staying half board in a hotel, so didn't eat out very much so can't really comment on the cost of meals out, but drinks were quite expensive. A large beer cost anything up to 3 euros 30, but different bars had different offers, such as two drinks for price of one happy hour or cheaper drinks before 10pm etc. Some places further out were cheaper. Beaches were very nice, but quite expensive to hire loungers and umbrellas - 3euros 50 each, so cost us 14 euros a day for 3 loungers and one umbrella. Choice of boat trips available from the beach. We did a two hour trip costing 12 euros each, which was very good.

The resort is very friendly and focus very much on families. The beach is a little too busy for my taste but very clean. There are many activities in the area for all ages and we recommend it.

The beach is the best you can imagine. Clean, big and near the shops and restaurants. Also nice and flat, so easy access. Great selection of eating places and lovely people!

Santa Ponsa is the best place to saty in Mallorca. It's clean it's famuily freidnly and we just love it. Brill weather and nice shops too.

Nice resort with plenty of bars, resturants and lovely beach. Plenty to do and visits to Palma only 20 mins by bus away.

We all really thought Santa Ponsa was a winner. From the beach to the food to the people to the weather! Not far from the airport either and good for all the main attractions Mallorca has to offer.

This has got to be the tackiest place I have ever been outside Blackpool. It is a concrete monstrosity with rubbish shops and tacky bars. If you want to get really drunk and sunburnt its pretty good. The Irish seem to love it for some reason!

The resort of Santa ponsa is actually very good. There is something for everybody and it has lots of good choices to eat at and a great beach. Nice resort. Shame about the hotel.
