The resort itself is nice but very spread out. The beaches are nice but difficult to access especially with young children. The bus route is very good and not expensive to go on. The people are very friendly, but to eat out can be expensive.

The beach was small but beautiful. Nice little resort, but as everything was closed or closing for the winter I can't fully review the place.

Cala'n Forcat review
"A bit quieter, but great fun for kids"
resort to a friend
The resort had a good selection of bars and restaurants - most with a play area for kids which was very welcome. We were regulars at Frankie's bar, which had a bouncy castle for the young 'uns, and featured big screen TVs to make sure we didn't miss out on major sports matches or even The X Factor! Restaurant L'Ancora had a fabulous barbecue on every night, where you could watch your steak being cooked to perfection. Beaches are not in great supply, but a bit of a walk away and you'd be sure to find a sandy cove.

Santo Tomas review
"Not enough for teenagers."
resort to a friend
year ago. That says it all. Not much has changed and we still recommend it, particularly for those holidaying with young children (under 10s). However, there are three points to note: 1. The excellent children's entertainer had her hours cut (presumably due to the Global Finantial Crisis, the crash of Lehman Brothers etc) and consequently there were less kids activities on offer. Unlike last year, there was no activities for under 4s. 2. I don't think Santo Tomas has enough things on offer for older children (teenagers). 3. The price of the shops there is frankly staggering.

Santo Tomas review
"you can walk it in 10mins"
resort to a friend
if you just want to sunbathe sant tomas is the place to go on menorca as there is nothing to do, the woman on reception told us you could walk from 1 side to the other in 10 minutes and she wasnt wrong. theres only 1 real bar there called haleys bar, a pint of lager worked at about £3.20, so if you go out every night take a lot of money, theres just 1 cashpoint there aswell.
if you stay self catering get a bus into mao and get your shopping there as the 2 supermarkets are very expensive.
we went out to eat twice once at a bar thats owned by a hotel, we had 1 pizza and 1 lasagna, it came to about 15 euros and it wasnt great.
would i go back, probably not to sant tomas, but i probabl would to menorca

although punta prima is a quite resort, with a few restaurants and bars, there is a regular bus service into mahon (takes about 15-20 min),the capital, where all other place are reachable from.

This is a very small and quiet resort, especially in September! It is very relaxing though, and there are just enough bars and shops to keep you occupied. It is well worth taking a trip to other local towns.

This resort is perfect for people with young kids like myself. It is fairly small and quiet, with a lovely little beach. The weather in September is fantastic, and not too hot.

We would not have chosen this resort although it was quiet in september. It has few beaches and the night life would suit families/teenagers.It was a good base to explore the Island and the local bus service was very good.We were glad we were on Full board because to eat out would have been very expensive. The supermarkets were also expensive,we met a couple with two young children who were self cateing an it had cost them 2 euros for a pint of milk!!

The resort itself is quite small, its quiet but good for young families. I would reccomend this resort if you want to stay mainly hotel based. There are bars and restaurants but nightlife is minimal. The cove next to our hotel was quite small and didnt really entice us into visiting more than once .

Very small if you compare it to Majorca or any of the popular islands.Comprises basically of two streets. As you walk up the main street you have shops.bars and restaurants on both sides. As you hit the roundabout you go left and there is the second street that runs adjacent to the main street which carries on untill you go under the blue arch.Very nice selection of restaurants.Highly recommended L.ANCHORA under the blue arch.Excellent selection of food(try the b.b.q special) best english breakfast and the staff are a great laugh.Jimmy Hills bar in the square(left at roundabout) FREE outdoor entertainment on the central stage which changes every 2 weeks.Tribute acts like THE DRIFTERS.TAKE THAT .WESTLIFE.ELVIS.THE FOUR TOPS.I tried to find out why it was called Jimmy Hillls bar(COVENTRY CITY FAN) but all the spanish waiter new was that he was english.

Very quite resort. Not really a lot to do apart from having a drink in the few bars. The bus stop was very close to be able to visit other places. Did not find any decent beaches in the resort had to travel further a field.

Not allot to do, you can do it all in half a day.. Only three hotels, but the beach is lovely, all but the sunbeds and parasol being the most expensive I ever come across.
