"Not for Couples"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This is a place for families. I think it is wrong to advertise it for all couples. We are in our 60's and to be honest we had enough of screeming children by the end of the week. Please don't think we are anti children we are not but this place was not for us. The food was ok, a little boring but hay we did not starve. Nice salad bar. The Staff were a strange bunch, with it being a mainly AI Hotel the staff are not really interested anyway, but a smile occaisionally would not have gone a miss. When ever you went to the reception to order/find out about anything they seemed to try and talk you out of what you wanted to do, to keep you in the hotel. The apartment was ok a little run down and needed some work on it. We were told that they are going to update them all. Would I recommend this hotel? Only to families not to couples.

"fantastic"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Myself my son and my mother are just back from the Binimar Resort, Cala'n Forcat. What a wonderful holiday we had. I can't understand the moaners on here that winge about the food and the accomodation. I myself am rather a fussy eater when it comes to food quality and found the food to be perfectly acceptable. Lots to choose from. The appartments were fine although yes a bit draughty because it was cool & windy at night. But the staff were very helpful and delivered extra duvets within minutes of asking and there was a portable heater in our appartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the entertainment staff were just wonderful. What a laugh. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed every 2nd day. The maids were great.

"excellent family holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The apartments are basic but comfortable and cleaned every other day, they dont have air con which could be a problem in the height of summer, however we went in september so was fine. The hotel has a really good entertainments programme and the animation team work hard keeping the kids amused aswell as the adults.hotel staff were friendly and informative. Three large pools so especially good if youre all inclusive as you can vary your days. The only downside to being all inclusive at the hotel was that all meals and snacks were served in one restaurant, would have been nice to have an outdooor snack bar, having said that the food was excellent! would definitely go back.

"Menorca"
Overall Hotel Rating:
These apartments were very nice for the price we paid. The resort was like a village style complex inlcuding three main pools. It had a bit to do around, inlcuding a local close shop which you could food from incase you was self catering. Or there was a nice Grill restrurant and a wine bar on sight, which both served very nice food. The rooms were very nice, as we were self catering we had a kitchen section, a seating areas, the bedroom and then the bathroom. Also we had a nice balcony with nice secenary so we could sit out on a evening and have a drink. I couldnt fault the rooms they had everything i needed in them and everything was in good working order. The maid was very nice and visited the room twice while we were there in a week. The holiday was a very last minute cheap one so didnt expect much for my money so when i was presented with this hotel i was very happy. It was in a good location as well about a 10 minute walk from the main centre were you could go to bars, clubs and resturants

"Where is my Teddy"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We returned, last week after spending a really enjoyable week at the Binimar, our room was right outside pool no. 2 so we were awoke at approx 5am by the "early birds" putting their towels on the sunbeds, so as we were awake, we done the same. We found the hotel and the resort to be ideal for thoses people with children wanting a relaxing holiday the area is very child friendly and our 2 kids had a great time (7 & 4). We did manage to leave our 4 year olds favourite teddy in the room (293) and we phoned the hotel half hour after returning but he wasn't found, maybe he had been picked up and sent to the laundry - they said, we emailed and phoned numerous times but we haven't had any word from the hotel, we might go back next year and I wouldn't be suprised to see "Pirate Jack" laying on a sunbed, waiting for the Booms Disco to start.

"Fantastic"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have just returned from a Fortnights stay at the Binimar and had a fantastic time. The apartment was big enough for 2 adults and 2 young children and although it was not sparkling clean, it was clean enough. The site is very well maintained and very clean throughout. Our children absolutely loved it with plenty of choice from the 3 swimming pools, and the childrens discos and activities. The weather was just nice - not too hot - and the flights only just over 2 hours long. The nearby town of CalaForcat is excellent and very family orientated. There were plenty of play places to choose from for the children and 'Molligans' at 'Dominique Plaza' was the best play place/bar that was in the shade. The nearby beach was not great - but we are not a big fan of beaches anyway as find it too hot for the children. TopMarkets supermarket was great and very well stocked and huge. We will definately be returning at some point.

"sunny holiday!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The apartments are well spaced out around the pools and other facilities. The balconies are very nice to relax in the evenings after a long day at the beach. Our apartment had a very smelly bathroom, which did not improve after a week and 3 bottles of bleach! Apart from the continuous visits from red ants (they ate my duty free white toblerone!) the apartment was nice and spacious with room to eat at the table in the living area. The maintainance man was very prompt in fixing a couple of lights that were not working and the toilet that kept filling up. There was no kettle and the toaster kept tripping the electric! One these things were sorted, the rest of the holiday was fine. In all, it was a reasonable place to spend the week.

"Great Family Holiday "
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just arrived home after a week at the Binimar and me, my wife and 3 year old had great time. rooms spotless and were cleaned 6 of 7 days. There was a fridge in the rom which was great for keeping water and little snacks for the kids cold. Had lots of food to choose from and a good mixture from chicken nugets for the Kids to Roast beef, Chicken, Sword fishto Paella and large a selection of salads and cold meats. The fantastic entertainment staff worked non stop with the kids in the day and the big kids at night, shows were good all round family fun. The nearest beach had a small bit of sand but mainly pebbles however a sandy beach was just an extra 5 min walk. The rooms would benfit from air con however we hired a fan for 10 euros for the week and found that was just about ok. We paid to keep are room on the last day for just 22 euro and found the all the staff were great which made the holiday. We were with Thomson, the rep sarah was great with no high presure sales. We were just given the information asked for. There were 3 swimming pools to choose from, 2 with a kids pool. We would definately return to the Binimar.

"Theft"
Overall Hotel Rating:
DO NOT GO HERE. Had suitcase stolen from "secure" luggage room that we had to pay for. The hotel staff had been speaking English all week when they wanted money from us, until this theft that obviously the hotel was part of, then it was "no speak English" Thomas Cook were rubbish and Insure and Go are refusing to pay out on claim. So do not go here, use Thomas Cook or Insure and Go if you want a good holiday.

"binimar apartments cala n forcat"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Have just returned home from 2 weeks at the binimar. Had a great holiday complex is beautiful. The food on site isnt very good but the resort is a 2 minute walk and has lots of places to eat. There is a restaurant over the road called the Forum dont eat there its rubbish. The best place to eat is Daisys which is about a five minute walk you can get a 3 course meal for 10.9 euros and its lovely. Further in past the blue arch is a place called the black horse which sells good british home cooked food but the waiting time is a bit long. Theres a great bar called Jimmy Hills which is around a square which has great entertainment lots of cheesy tribute acts.Just outside of there is a restaurant called Twiggies which is british owned and does better fish and chips than youd get back home! All inall a great place if you dont want hustle and bustle my son is 13 and met loads of mates. When booking ask for an upstairs room as there is no air con and you cant really leave your patio doors open on a night if your on the ground floor but upstairs you can and theres a lovely beeze all the time (no need to hire a fan). Make sure you keep little ones out of the sun and use plenty of good sun lotion cause its really hot. Enjoy!

"Binimar 2008"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just came back from the Binimar apartments in Menorca and was a bit worried about staying there because of some bad reviews, but need not have worried because it was great! It is in a good location, clean and tidy apartments and lovely views! The pools are a good size and cleaned every day, but if you want a sun bed get up early, because people reserve them! The entertainment for kids is good if you want it and the acts on a night time are very good my favourite was West Life and the Temptations very energetic! The only thing I would have liked is for the kids disco to have been on for a bit longer. We went self catering and ate in various places and can honestly say I didn't have a bad meal in a fortnight. The beach isn't brilliant next to the apartments because there was lots of rubbish in the sea, but my husband went back another day and said it was cleaner so I think it's just pot luck with that, went for a ride down to the beach at Cala Blanes a little bigger but still some rubbish in the sea which is a real shame because it could be lovely! Also went on the bus (45 minute journey) down to Cala Bosch which has a gorgeous little beach with clear water and lovely sand! All in all we had a great time and would recommend!
