Lovely little resort{too quiet for teenagers in my opinion}
We'd tried Hotels,All Inclusive and not impressed,so decided on a villa this year.We'll be booking again for next year,maybe even at same resort.
Villa nice,big enough.We actually booked 2 bedroomed{last minute deal}and got a 3 bedroomed! Cutlery,crockery a bit dirty and wardrobes smelled a bit musty,but the pool size and location made up for it.{just round the corner really from Spar}Take plenty of Euros--they dont stretch too far.
Fantastic having your own private pool.

Will book one with air-conditioning next year--it was so hot at night,couldn't sleep{ended up jumping in pool at 3am to cool down!}.And one with washing machine to make it the perfect holiday.
Best entertainment--Sa Piazza{behind restaurant} Excellent tribute bands especially Three Degrees,Temptations,Queens of the Night,Robbie Williams{my daughter was convinced he was the real thing!}
Best food--Chinese restaurant-Look Fu{try the chilli salt and pepper ribs--v nice!},Duck in Orange sauce good and all served nice and hot
Thought 'Salamander' food was over rated,though restaurant very clean,decor nice.Pool room nice and cool on hot days.
'Bar del Sur'{worst meal-sorry,but it was rushed,cold and just rubbish}disappointing for our last night.
Excellent steak at 'El Pulpo'

Never went to beach--made the most of the pool,and didnt fancy the 190 steps down to the beach anyway.Dont do 'keep fit' on holiday{dont do it at home either}
Waterpark trip--disappointing.Flooring around pooland slide areas,very slippy even just to walk on--please tell kids not to run.My daughters thighs are black and blue. Had to meet outside for 4 pm,but coach had gone well before-- shame on the coach company.Felt sorry for Fern{rep},who tried her best ,they sent a mini bus with only 20 seats{there were 24 of us}couldn,t even put kids on our knees.That bus left us.Another one came with 21 seats and we could board that one!madness or what.
Despite the trip and a few rubbish meals,this was still the best holiday we'd had.

The resort itself is quite small and very British. orientated. The beach whilst not very wide was very pretty - the water is shallow and there was a good area in front of the sunbeds for those who didn't want to pay the extortionate prices (buy a lilo and an umbrella). It was accessed either by a steep road, steep steps or the saviour to those without a car but with children was the little train which ran all day and every day.

Most eateries catered well for children with lots of inclusive three course menus + wine etc. Children weren't our priority as we were on our own and we were able to savour the delights of the Stop Restaraunt which was behind the main street. This had everything we were looking for - good food, quiet setting and wonderful service. Though it was obviously dearer than most it was the best.

Having never been on a villa holiday before we can certainly recommend it. The freedom is fantastic and the privacy gives you that real holiday feeling. We went with Iglu Villas (on behalf of Style Holidays). Service was great from Helenin the Iglu offices. We did their insurance as well which was very competitive.
