"Costa Adeje"

Submitted in June 2008 by: Geoff and Lauren

Operator: Thomson

We found Costa Adeje to be quite dirty in places and there wasn't much to do without travelling on the bus. Tenerife itself is quite built up with more buildings going up all the time, if you like quieter places this is not for you.

OverallGood Hotel

We found the hotel to be good overall, but we thought having to pay extra for the hire of the safety deposit box and the fridge was too much (48 euros in total) when this is a platinum hotel. We have found Thomson gold hotels to be better even though you th...

We love Tenerife, and this is the 3rd time that we've been to Playa/Costa Adeje. There are so many bars and restaurants that we've always been spoit for choice.

A few of our favourite bars and restaurants are:

Las Roccas: This is the Jardin Tropical's restaurant, which over-looks the sea. We had our best honeymoon meal here, watching the sun set & eating the nicest food we've ever had. Harleys: American diner - massive portions, and lovely cocktails!

La Gran Paella Valanciana: this is a small restuarant opposite the marina, at the bottom of the hill - just behind the apartments, which does lovely food, and the best sangria in the resort

Kashmir Indian - upstairs, in the San Eugenio centre

The Slow Boat - chinese next to the marina

Enjoy your holiday to Tenerife - we'll be back soon!

OverallExcellent Hotel

We have just returned from a perfect week at the Club Atlantis apartments in Tenerife (for our honeymoon!).

They are the best self-catering apartments that I have ever stayed in abroad - being very clean, modern, and well-equipped.

Just returned after 2 enjoyable weeks in this excellent hotel. We had a Junior Suite for the four of us which had plenty of room for us all (the kids loved the Jacuzzi bath) and the extra effort the maid went to in making animals out of the towels and layin...
