Just returned from a 2 week stay at the bahia Principe, I had read other peoples reviews on this site before visiting and found the information very useful. I can honestly say that this hotel really does have something to offer everyone. The Tenerife side of the hotel is quieter and much better for the less mobile as it is flatter, the Costa adeje side has rather steep hills. We ate at the italian, asian and mexican and all were excellent!! we found the booking system easy and a slip of paper was given to remind us of the dates & times we had chosen. The rooms were spotless as were all the communal areas, the pool entertainment staff worked hard at getting everyone to join in with the activities. (rifle shooting, table tennis, water aerobics etc). The food was also excellent! although the menu was repeated there was enough different dishes to vary what you chose. The only negative thing I have got to say about the hotel was that the parasols were limited, we had ours taken a couple of times while we had gone off to eat lunch, I would suggest tying something to it before hand to ensure it doesnt get taken. We did the whales excursion and were not dissapointed as we saw loads of whales jumping in and out of the sea, got some lovely video footage.

All in all I would most certainly recommend this hotel and would also go back again.

We have just arrived back from the best holiday we have ever had. This complex is stunning. We only had a week but had wished we stayed for 2. It is so clean and tidy everywhere - staff were only too pleased to assist you with anything. The food was gorgeous with plenty of variety for all. The best snack bar was down on the Costa Adeje side next to the infinity pool as they served chips, chicken nuggets & Spicy chicken where as on the Tenerife side it was more basic. The animation team were brilliant (Especially Michelle, Danny and Thomas)and had a real knack of getting you to join in. There own shows weren't the best (Grease etc) but it was a laugh to watch. The childrens club was great and we hardly saw our youngest child as he joined in with everything - he loved the pirate day where they all went around the whole complex looking for treasure. Lots of different nationalities but everyone try to talk to one another and join in. We enjoyed Water Aerobics, Football, Water Volleyball & the Yoga but they had plenty of other activities to do aswell. It was nice at the evening as there was a dress code for in the restaurants (Men had to be in trousers and no sleeveless tops) so no-one came in wearing wet costumes. Before we went to this complex we had been told that once you go there you don't want to go anywhere else again and we know why now ! We can't wait to get back to this resort and have booked for later on in the year

Just returned after 2 enjoyable weeks in this excellent hotel. We had a Junior Suite for the four of us which had plenty of room for us all (the kids loved the Jacuzzi bath) and the extra effort the maid went to in making animals out of the towels and laying out their toys on the beds. The hotel is very clean with staff cleaning all areas very thoroughly and regularly. The food in the main restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice for all tastes. We also ate at the Mexican, Asian and Italian which are all really good. The entertainment staff work really hard and the night time shows are great, our boys loved the kids club and were happy going twice a day. We went on two trips, Loro Parque which is excellent the Orca Whale show is fantastic), and the submarine safari which is Ok but not worth the money. The Hotel is isolated and the nearest resort is Playa Pariso which is very small and takes about a 20min walk up and down alot of steps and hills. This was the best hotel we have stayed in and we would not hesitate to go back.

We are just back from the above hotel had a fantastic , very relaxing holiday. The room was big enough for the 3 of us and was cleaned every day, we got clean towels everyday. The food was excellent with a great choice in the buffet restaurant, you also have to try the Italian resaurant. The staff at the hotel are all very pleasant and you always get a "hola".We were aware of the position of the hotel but it didn't worry us too much. We loved our stay so much we are booking for next year.

Just returned from a great holiday.Read other reviews before booking and most seemed correct. Really clean hotel,good service ,bar staff great ,views to pool; and sea gorgeous ,rooms spotless , food choice excellent .We enjoyed the Spanish restaurant most for the food, and views.Main pool bar spotless . Self service bar where you could get snacks such as hotdogs, jamaican chicken toasties,olives etc not quite so clean only because of messy guests spilling stuff as they helped themselves .

Loved the all inclusive especially sangria and the honey rum with ice and lemonade -bliss!. Children could not get enough icecreams and self service slush puppies .Nice coffees. fantastic pina colada cocktails and calypso coffees in the lobby bar. Disappointed that Italian restaurant was not more exciting .Preferred buffet restaurant.Children enjoyed .

Bit of a fight for sunbeds around main lagoon pool as wanted 5 with 2 parasols so had to get up and watch the sunrise with all the other guests who had learned the hard way, (although got to enjoy reading paper in peace )as could only reserve one bed before 8 oclock or a maid would tell you to take towels off!. Made you feel like a naughty school boy but resorted to what everyone else seemed to be doing ie;tying bags around the parasols and bringing books and newspapers to put on them as soon as 8oclock had passed then going to breakfast!. First day -no hope as we went down at 10oclock after breakfast, where we went to sea front infinity pool and enjoyed views ( could always get sunbeds here).

Water park Okay usual rides ,a bit disappointing as had to queue for a while for rings or rent your own for 8 euros, worth it for the dolphin show though!The animation team were great. Water aerobics was a hit with a fantastic energetic guy making everyone enjoy it immensely.

All in all a great holiday . Would book a Bahia Principe resort again !
