Just returned fromthe Bouganville whers we stayed in January. must say the hotel is starting to change as you can now opt for fully inclusive. in January you were not allowed to wear t-shirts snd jeans in ths dining hall but that has seemed to chamge to people wearing football shirts in there, which to me does not constitute an hotel worthy of four star status. it did remins people with numerous signs thst this would not be tolerated but staff just turned a blind eye. Also people seem to be booking sunbeds with their towels and this did not happen in january, plus there were motices saying this was not permitted. However the hotel is still beautiful and the location is magnificent. the food is very good with a wide choice of foods for all palettes. go out of the back gate and you willl find the Rabbit Bar very cheap for food and drinks. The Star bar across the road is also very good. Walk down to Porto Colon it is really cosmopolitan. have a drink in the Blue Marlin and the food is excelllent there. Loads of time share touta everywhere with their stupid scratch cards ignore them because they can be qiute pushy. Also loads of lookie lookie men about all selling the ssame tat. will be going back to tenerife again, but not to the Bouganville. Willl try thr Hotel Gran Tenerife or the Jardin Tropical. Afriad they have spoilt the Bouganville by allowing the option on fully inclusive.
The area does seem to be going downhill but this is due to a lot of the bars closing. veronicas is barely existing.

Stayed at hotel last year as well ,very good value, would hate to be born a pig in tenerife as very short life rather be cattle as they dont seem to kill them, air cond not good in rooms, better than torvistas where we have also stopped, bars around the hotel are good value and entertaining(except oscars which now charge £3.60 A pint).Resort very clean as always. Will go back even with all the pork and no beef

The entertainment at the Hotel was very good and available in English Too!
The daytime activities were first class and everyone I saw were really enjoying themselves.
Our family room was on the eighth floor was spotless and cleaned daily. We also has superb views of the Atlantic and nearby Port.
Overall, a great hotel with friendly staff, good food in a good location. Would definately return and recommend.
Costa Adeje is a lovely resort with many nice bars and restaurants. The downside for us was the constant mithering to either eat at restaurants or drink in local bars whilst out walking. Found Tenerife very expensive this time particularly drinks and excur...

After a terrible flight arriving by a Thomas Cook partnership airline called 'Gadair' we were met by some Thomas Cook staff. We arrived at the hotel and it looked sublime, on first view. The following day we went to a Thomas Cook meeting, which was very well explained and we booked trips through the rep. (Loro Parque and Aqualand). For our first week everything was fantastic, the children loved the hotel club. Into the second week and we went to Loro Parque (which was a really good family day out). We then heard about how Aqualand was over-priced and on our receipt it said fully refundable, however, the rep. would not refund the money!! Where it clearly said in black and blue fully refundable. A lack of staff this week meant that the toilets were disgusting with toilet paper thrown around everywwhere and the pool machines broken, due to the fact some child broke them and the snooker cues'. Food was excellent all 2 weeks and this is what kept our family going even though the drinks were a tad expensive. The 3 swimming pools were clean, take a pair of goggles as they put the chemicals into the water in the morning so your eyes will sting. On our return to the airport no Thomas Cook representative was there, not even on the 'Gadair' plane back home.
Book the Bouganville Hotel but not with Thomas Cook, they are unreliable and not at all helpful.
Wasn't what was advertised with Thomas Cook

Well eventually arrived after 6 hour delay (Thomas Cook). This is our second visit to this hotel. We had two rooms because my daughter is 14 and this had an interconnecting door, the rooms also had fantastic views over the pool area and sea. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food in the hotel is excellent and enough choice each night to suit everyone. The hotel staff are very helpful. A bonus is that you can get towels from reception for the pool and these can be changed at the end of the day. There are shops very close by and bars. Lots of restaurants in the area. Lots for the kids to do - if they want to - my son played football most days (run by Hotel maxi club), there was water polo, water aerobics, table tennis and a club for the younger children. There is also activities for adults. Also there is trips to go on, we went to Loro Parque which has killer whale and dolphin shows, and lots of other animals, this was great to go and see but it was very busy.
