Me and my partner went to Club Marina, we loved it it was so friendly on the first day we werent happy with the accomidation so the next day they moved us, to a appartment that we were happy with all of the staff are so friendly, you actually dont have to leav the accomidation for anything. it was brilliant we will be going back there in April

The hotel was clean altough the beds were not the most comfortable.The food in the hotel was awful and most guests on half board chose not to eat the evening meal, as the food was tasteless and repetitive.After the first couple of nights we decided to eat out,which added to the overall cost of the holiday.

The rep didn't turn up for the welcome meeting on the first morning and simply put a pack that we had already recieved from the Hotel reception under the room door. The hotel was clean and quiet although the "entertainment" was limited.

The resort itself was fairly quiet and there is a square with a few bars which seems to be frequented mainly by ex-pats rather than tourists.The square is quite run down and at times there is an unpleasant smell which seems to come from the drains.There are a couple of decent pubs one is the Starlight Bar which has entertainment on a couple of nights a week.The area is quite close to Las Galletas and it's a twenty minute walk into this town.

Overall I would say the area has very little to entertain the average tourist and virtually nothing to offer a family and if there are any teenagers then the parents will have a job keeping them amused.

I went here on holiday with my wife and two daughters one 8yrs old and one 19yrs old and we had a great time Although the hotel was under renovation it did'nt spoil our fun. There are two pools and a jaccuzi both heated and probably the only heated pools in the area a poolside bar and resteraunt with family entertainment every night. There is also a british cafe bar called kaygans run by a young couple called peter and joanne and not fogetting their daughter regan this cafe bar is very freindly and inviting with fantastic food from snacks to full meals inc steak hawian chicken or just good old fish and chips the family that run this bar very helpfull and peter even drove us to see some of the attractions and with siam park only 10mins away this is a great place to be

Accomodation average by timeshare standards mainly due to areas of kitchen awaiting refurbishment, otherwise fine.Staff attentive and helpful,especially Patricia.Del Silencio is relaxing,laid back, friendly, and low key.It has attractive residential areas and three main commercial centres,Trebol,Ten Bel,and Coral Mar.The latter has around a dozen bars and restaurants.Bar prices cheaper than Americas.Excellent food at Bar el tasco de Botijo,Tabernas del Pollo.Scotch Corner also good.Spotless Panadeira /cafe/bar underneath the Costa Sol appartments. All these in Coral Mar area.

Never bothered by or saw timeshare/ticket touts in two weeks.Nearby village of Los Abrigos with spanish bars,restaurants is worth visiting.Flicks bar good entertainment but very smoky with iffy bogs,Starlights Cabaret bar friendly, good fun,immaculate bogs.Silencio has no high rise,low traffic volume,and aircraft noise is really not a problem.In the small hours it is very quiet,we slept well.

Would go back.
