The food was fantastic-plenty of choice at all meal times. All meals are taken in the restaurant so there is no mess poolside.Plenty of choice drinks wise-no queueing at all-sunbeds were plentiful-no need to get up in the night with your towels!!!!Even at the weekend when the Spanish use the timeshare apartments there were no queues.Geared towards everyone, lots of Spanish and Dutch when we visited.Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pool is something else-the sea flows into it at high tide and is completly emptied and cleaned every week-worth a watch. The bar closes bang on 11 pm but The Top Hat bar is just round the back and serves till 4ish.Entertainment is good through the day-lots of activities but basic through the evening. There is a local Netto store close by to get an English paper-cigarettes were cheaper across the precinct.
The resort has some lovely shops, but is quiet compared to Las Americas which is only 15 euros in a taxi to visit-
We had our beach bag stolen from next to the pool, but the hotel and police were on the ball-everything was recovered and the culprit locked up within an hour !!!!!!!!Even so this would not put us off returning-well worth a visit.

Kids enjoyed themselves and the more adult entertainment was of a good standard....apart from Marvellous Marvin and his organ...sorry Marv!!
Would definately reccommend this resort to other people especially since the price was really reasonable. Can't wait to return some time!!

very disapointing as we had been in tenerife prior to this before for xmas and had an excellant time. unfortunately this hotel was geared for the german community as all signs were in german including details of the so called evening entertainment which was again geared up for the german guests staff had very poor english the food was bland and every day was the same with food being barely warm although they did have a microwave to reheat food which was in constant use. the coffe machine was continually breaking down. and as for poolside snacks they were non existant very poorly run hotel and will most definately not recommend this place to anyone from england.

This was booked through Teletex as a late cheap deal. We tried to reasearch the hotel and resort prior to booking but couldn't find out very much about either. On recommendation of friends who had previously booked other resorts by this method and had been reasonably happy with the outcome we decided to take a chance. Like previous comments the hotel did appearance was offputting but once inside we found the staff friendly, the reception clean.
We didn't have to wait very long to check in and got the keys to our apartment immediately. The corridors are a bit like what you'd expect in a prison, long and all painted beige from top to bottom, but on the whole we had a good week. The food was of good quality with plenty of choices, well cooked and we never had to queue once. The table were cleared and relaid immediately they were vacated. The apartment was kept clean, towels changed every other day and bed linen change once during the week. Everywhere was kept spotless. We went out to the Jungle Park one day which was good value for money and took up a whole day and the market in Los Christianos was worth a visit.
I don't think the resort would be suitable for young persons looking for a 'wild' time butit suited us and we thought it excellent value for money. The main thing was that we never once had to reserve a sun bed at any time of day, there were hundreds available around the very large sea-water pool. The only downfall was that the pool area did require some maintenance to thetiling surrounding this area.
We would go back again. It was value for money.

after reading some reports about the holiday we had booked before we went i was a bit put off and thought we might have made a mistake, we made our own way to resort from airport and found it very easy, just joined short que outside airport for taxi {cost to resort was 15 ,euro's).
We were all inclusive and for a 3 star resort we thought it was good value. our room at ten bel was spacious and clean, cleaned every day with fresh towel, staff friendly.food very good, bar staff would serve 2 drinks per person each visit to bar {as often as you wanted} so service was quick.there were day time activities for kids and adults, evening entertainment was typical for holiday camp,my wife uses a wheelchair and disable facilities were very good, all ramps, although some are quite steep.
excellent sea water pool (emtied and refilled every night)good shopping in resort and nice shopping centre across road outside resort.when leaving the reort we had vacate our room by midday but they had a luguage room to use which was very useful,we met other couples that were also please with the resort.
we would go back again, had a lovely time.

Upon arrival to this mass of concrete it took us ages to find the entrance to the hotel. It looks like a prison from the outside. The reception staff were not very welcoming and many of the staff could not speak English so communication was sometimes poor. All the staff in the complex lacked a smile. Non of the staff were rude but you could not sense any happiness or fun from the staff.
The one very good point about the hotel is the cleanliness of the room and grounds. They really do make a huge effort to ensure the complex remains clean. They really need to do this as in places the concrete is crumbling to the ground.
When inside, it feels like a Butlins holiday camp that has not been looked after. Night after night, the adults sit around the pool bar in plastic chairs and tables looking thoroughly miserable whilst the young kids dance to Agadoo!
The hotel has plenty of staff so you are never kept waiting. The restaurant is clean and plenty of food but beware if you are thinking about taking small children, they seriously lack variety for adults, let alone children. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful, overlooking the gigantic sea filled pool and sea.
Most people go all inclusive to this hotel and they supply you with a bright band around your wrist all week. Beware that the 'all inclusive' is only up until 11pm. After this, its cash only!
The entertainment is very poor and really only caters for small children. There are some local bars near and some good restaurants if you wander out of the hotel. There is a local karaoke bar that runs on a Saturday night. The guy who runs this has only 2 English discs so learn some Spanish songs if you're into karaoke! Good fun though and the local crowd were really friendly.
In summary, on the negative side, the staff were not friendly, food lacked quality and variety, poor entertainment. Positive side, the rooms were spotless and large for families, the complex is clean and has security guards wandering around, plenty of sun beds and an excellent clean swimming pool.
We wanted a cheap, all inclusive deal, with sun and swimming and activities for the children and that is more or less what we got.

The resort is sadly in need of modernisation, but having said that, it was clean and the staff friendly. Only downside was the restaurant which was sadly lacking in imagination in choice on the buffet, but the food was edible and we could always find something but by the end of our week, were looking forward to something different.
The pool is huge and the beach next to it is better than we were led to believe and the children enjoyed playing on the rocks between the pool and sea and the snorkelling session, (not included). However, could do with more activities for older children, our 10 yr old played a lot of pool and table tennis and enjoyed the water polo once a day, but our 14yr old was not really catered for, although she was quite happy swimming and relaxing taking in the sun and we did take two days out on a catamaran whale/dolphin watching and a coach tour up Mount Teide. Be prepared for the evening cabarets and being entertained by the Kids Club and various other local 'acts'!
All in all an enjoyable and relaxing holiday if you don't set your expectations too high. Would we go back, probably not, but we met a couple who were on their 18th year and if you want sun, swimming and little more, then it may be worth a try. Very popular with Spanish holiday makers and the Costa del Silencio is very unspoilt by the British tourist market, unlike Playa de las Americas.

Never go back to this resort again, but would go back to Tenerife.

Accomadation- after check in we were quite surprised by the rooms which were quite nice. A seperate bedroom and a pull out bed in the lounge/ kitchen area. All rooms have a fridge and cooking area although we were all inclusive. (fridge came in handy for the after sun as it was VERY hot!) After a good nights sleep we had a proper look around and found the hotel only looked bad from the front. the complex was well spaced out with over 800 rooms and 4 floors. any staff we encountered were very polite and helpful and most spoke very good english.
Pools- there is one very large swimming pool which is sea water and a small toddlers pool which was fresh water. be warned! there were a few tiles missing from the pool area which we found out the first day after my daughter cut her foot.(first aider from hotel dealt with this very quickly!) if you have got kids buy them a pair of surf shoes to wear in the pool. we found these in the town centre for 8.75E
Food and drink-food in the restraunt was buffet style which was quite good, although sometimes lacked variety (stay away from the tea and coffee though YUCK!!). drinks at the bar were limited to 2 per person but plenty of staff on so no waiting. range of drinks available for all inclusive were limited but try them all and you will find something (ouzo and limon Yum Yum!)the bar closes at 11pm but will sell drinks after.
Entertainment- what entertainment! very very limited. was mostly geared at under 5's or over 50's. there is something on every night and the entertainment team tried very hard.
out and about- this town closes at 11pm!! if you are looking for nightlife dont come here cause there aint none! theres a small shopping centre just round the corner with netto supermarket but shop around for your duty free. most shops will let you haggle over the price so give it a try. bus stops are just outside the hotel and buses are very cheap (1.10E per person). take a day trip to los cristianos but watch out for time share, there everywhere.
overall- believe it or not, we had a very good holiday! very relaxing and hassle free.but couldn't stay for longer than a week. would probably go back if the nightlife was improved.
