Firstly the ratings I gave were because we wanted a cheap holiday and that is what we got and we all found it very good value for money!
The planes were fairly nearby but NO probs because they only flew during the daytime ( unless all your going to do all day is SLEEP!)

The only real PROBLEM we occured during our holiday was that we did't acually arrive til Xmas Eve - well by the time we got to the Ten Bel Primavera reception is was by then after midnight on Xmas Day only to arrive by taxi outside the reception to find it all in darkness!!!!!!!!! Not really funny when it acually looked like the place had all been shut down and not a soul around - BUT there was a note on the door to say ";Reception shuts at 12:00 (midnight) "; and a phone number to ring to get someone to give you a key-- SO MY ADVICE TO ANYONE GOING HERE IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER MIDNIGHT TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR MOBILE PHONE WITH YOU!!! Other than that the reception staff are very accomadating and helpful.

The rooms are basic but very clean ( and after all you only sleep in the rooms.Room service every day ( inc. Xmas Day and Boxing Day - cleaned every day, towels changed every other day and linen twice a week.
Pool- plenty big enough, lots of sunbeds to go round and a lifeguard at all times people in and around the pool.Pool Bar was OK when open( food medi-oker!) actually said was open til 8pm in evening BUT every day was SHUT before this time. There was NO daytime or evening entertainment which wasn't a problem 'cos if you did want some you could go down to the Aldorda which was just a short walk from Primavera ( but entertainment was a bit like BUTLINS!)

Can recommend ";THE CELLAR BAR"; accross the road at main reception and to the left a bit (especially if your a footie fan or you like a bit of Karaoke!!) The restaurant above is good as well. There are also other english bars, chinese restaurant and other restaurants accross the road at main reception and to the right.
There is a bus stop right outside Primavera which takes you to Los Cristianos, Playas Americas and Los Gigantos, very cheap - but Los Cristianos and Playas Americas for me are too touristy ( but everybody likes different things), We also took a bus to Gulf De Sur which I also liked.

Don't expect to see a beach at Costa Del Selincio 'cos there isn't one or Gulf De Sur!

Overall the holiday was excellent value for money but don't go if your expecting a wild time its a good cheap week away!

We booked via Thomas Cook over the phone for half term. The resort was relatively near to the airport so there were planes flying over, mainly during the day, but it was more fascinating than annoying and you soon became used to it. However the advantage of this was that you were first drop off and last pick up.

The flight and in flight meal was excellent.

We were concerned over the limited/negative reviews and we pleasantly surprised on arrival. The apartments were pretty, and low level and extremely clean (could have done with a radio or tv). There was a lot of friendly permanent Spanish residents(ie families/elderly)which was another reason for the site being well maintained. We spotted a security guard on the complex but it made us feel secure rather than concerned. Rooms cleaned/towels changed daily and bedding twice a week. The receptionist(s) were extremely accomodating and asked us if everything was ok daily!

The pool was spotless with a lifeguard constantly patrolling the pool and plenty of decent sunbeds and parasols. There was a little daytime entertainment for adults (ie darts/rifle shooting) but the kids played constantly in the pool with other families.
There was no evening entertainment, but the Alborado across the road provided this, you just had to show your room key.

However there were plenty of restaurants -(turn right out of front of apartments) ";The Local"; (English) and ";Peking Garden";(Chinese) were next to each other and would let you order from either but sit on same table. Both were family friendly and clean. If you walk out of back of apartments, you find town centre/beach/banks/shops/more restaurants! On our final day the receptionist told us not to rush checking out and then gave us an apartment to have a shower in before we left.

Would recommend the apartments to anyone looking for a family orientated, relaxing holiday.
