Very Good Hotel

Resort was good, spoilt though with the amount of building work going on while we were there.
Got to recommend small restaurant beside our apartment ";Harbour Lights";. Food was excellent, with a good choice. staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall it was very enjoyable holiday, would consider going back in a couple of years when the building work is finished, the resort should look really nice then.

Hotel look very impressive when entering. All communal areas very clean and well maintained. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. However, would grade rooms more 3* than 4*.

The hotel staff are not the friendliest I've come across, but not offensive at all. Sometimes felt it was a chore for them to serve customers. Hotel is used by SAGA holidays. It is also used by FRAM, which is a french holiday company. Therefore, guests were mainly French and elderly. Not that this bothered us at all. Not a lively hotel. We didn't watch the entertainment, but popping our heads in now and again was enough to tell us it wasn't up to much. The pool area was usually very quiet and always lots of sun beds. The private beach is not very nice and we didn't use. It is very rocky and in need of more sand. We used the free bus to go to Los Cristianos and Adeje beaches. Both of which are very nice and not too far away. The bus went three times a day there and back. Took about twenty minutes.

The food was all you can eat buffet style. Always plenty of choice. Not great, but edible. If you are vegetarian, like I am, there is plenty of salad and vegetables. I found myself having very strange combinations, as there was never really a main course option, just lots of accompainments. Seemed to put meat on everything so I couldn't eat. There was meat on the pizzas, in the potato croquettes, in the salads and even in chick peas. It's not the best all inclusive deal I've been on. Could have drinks every 15 mins, had to show both cards to get yours and partners drinks, finishes at 11pm and never saw any snacks through the day. We knew all this before booking so not complaining. However, one day I wanted a toastie instead of the buffet for lunch. I was charged 3 euros and told it wasn't included in all inclusive. There is one main bar area, which isn particularly cosy. You feel like you're drinking in the hotel lobby. There's no music or any atmosphere. We had a good holiday, because we just wanted a week in the sun in a peaceful setting. This hotel is ideal if you want a relaxing break and a few quiet drinks in the evening. Don't take beach towels, as you get these free, with 10 euro returnable deposit. Therefore, more room in case for clothes!!

We were in room 2219 which wasn't even part of main hotel.Had to walk across pool area to get to it. We weren't happy about this to begin with, especially when there was a giant cockroach in bathroom on arrival! However, wereen't to bothered as it was the only part of the hotel that got plenty of sun on the terrace in the evenings. All the other balconies were shaded by about six.

As two ex holiday representatives (myself for 4 years)we always consider all aspects of a holiday before we book. This was our first time to Tenerife and we had a fantastic holiday. We booked via Sunstar Leisure online and found the overall service to be excellent although LTE airways were a very strange company who failed to comply with the most basic of procedure whilst we were onboard but hey they got us there and back in one piece!!!On arrival we were given a first floor room close to the lifts with a side sea view. The room was excellent and was cleaned every day with new towels provided. The staff were excellent throughout and the food was of an especially high standard with an abundance of choice. The breakdown of hotel guests were 50% French, 40% Spanish and 10% British which in fact made the stay far more pleasurable. All areas inside and out were kept clean and tidy and you never had to wait long for service at either bar.

The animation team are French and provide day and evening entertainment for all nationalities and are all very friendly and accommodating.

There is a good sized swimming pool, plenty of sunbeds,a putting green, games area, basic gym with beauty traetments available(20% off all treatments in July and August)as well as a separate beach club for hotel guests which is basically a chill out zone for sunbathing.
The resort itself is being developed and has barely anything to do however the hotel run a FREE daily bus to Las Americas which is very useful indeed.Overall, this hotel is superb throughout and we would recommend it to people who want excellent standards but want to take it easy for a week or two.

Ps - say hi to Laura the barmaid in Bar Faro, she is the most friendly!!!!
