Green Park Apartments Reviews

Would not recommed these apartments to anyone, they are extremely basic at best. 2 single camp beds with springs sticking into you no matter what way you lie. We went on a last minute break, s/c, 1st s/c ever stayed with no kettle provided! Towels changed every 2 days, bedding not changed once, cleaner did not even sweep floor once during our stay. Please do not waste your money staying at this place. We did not cook or eat in hotel so cannot comment.
Planes do fly very low and often but do not notice after a few hours.

There is no beach at all, although we laughed at how people managed to climb over the rocks to find flat, smooth rocks to sunbathe on.
San Blas is 15/20 mins walk away and we walked in every day. There is a lovely coastal walk to San Blas and we enjoyed this though at times very steep and the path would disappear at parts and you have to walk over the rocks at your own peril. Although this was something that we enjoyed.
San Blas has lots of different restuarants, cafes and bars. We tried a few and no complaints what so ever. Also kitchens are mostly open which I personnally love as you can tell at a glance if clean.
Bars closed in resort at 12 dead due to noise restrictions, the Wild Geese was our favourite, food looked amazing and huge and staff very friendly.

Would definately return to Golf Del Sur but not to Green Park.

I have been coming here for years and reading other peoples comments on green park. This is a lovely resort, the people are so friendly obviously it is near the airport so you will get planes but when you have seen one then they don´t bother you, the residents are friendly and helpful, the pools are clean, your not stuck here as there is a very good bus service to all resorts and yes the prices are quite expensive at the litle supermarkets, but you go to mercadona at the top for your food a very relaxing holiday, it beats stopping in the awful area of las americas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI Stayed at the Green Park Apartments.the complex as good facilities and offers a resturant and a good takeaway ,both independant. I cant comment on the apartments offered by various tour operaters,because i stayed in someones private apartment,which is excellent.

The green park apartments,i believe was one of the first apartment complexes to be built in Golf del sur around 20 years ago.The resort itself is far quieter than Playa las americas,as a bus service into las americas every hour and in the other direction to El Medano even quieter resort.Golf del sur as some good resturants in the week i was there,i cant say i had a poor meal,best bar is the Grandee o donnell ,opposite the green park apts.within walking distance is the next resort of AMARILLA GOLF.few bars there and two resturants maybe 1 more,it will be a nice resort when its finished.both these resorts lack any beaches,best to catch a bus ,once again every hour to Tejita ,by the big red rock,cant fail to see this ,bus stops just a hundred yards from the beach ,bus no 470 the el medano/grandilla bus,its one long beach with a cafe/bar.worth a visit is LOS ABRIGOS possible to walk from Golf del sur,also el medano another nice beach.

0ne thing that may disturb youre peace in Golf del sur,low flying aircraft as they land at the airport just 4 miles away,dont operate in the early hours of the morning ,plus Golf del sur is a paradise for golfers.

We arrived in the early hours to be informed that ,sorry but we only have two rooms at present instead of the 4 you have booked.At least they were 2 bedroomed apartments so we had enough beds.Some 24 hours later we finally were allocated the 4 rooms we had booked after many debates with the reception.Sadly this was only the start of our woes.Despite 3 different attempts by the maintenance men ,one of our rooms failed to have warm water for the whole holiday,another had warm water only 3 times.Apartments were never cleaned unless we complained and then very badly including one time leaving the dead ants we had killed during an infestation all swept into a corner of a bedroom i presume for us to clean up.The food was as cold as the water and awful so much so that despite being half board after a week we gave up totally and ate out.

The hotel ran out of towels on more than one ocassion.We used to go and request clean ones every so often as we had not had them changed for days only to be told that the delivery had not arrived that day.Due to the lack of cleaning we would also have to go and request toilet rolls as we were running rather low,even that was a battle with the extremely rude reception staff excluding one very nice young man who worked nights.Sadly he resigned whilst we were there as he said he was disgusted with how the place was run.

The only good thing were the pools which amazingly were kept extremely clean as was the surrounding area.We can only presume subcontractors looked after this part of the complex.

There were many many more problems but suffice to say terrible food,unhelpful staff,dirty etc etc will give you the right idea of Green Park.Dont go there!!!.

Golf Del Sur in itself is not really a resort as such and is very quiet however a 15 minute walk to San Blas in the evenings is well worth it with some excellent bars and restaurants.Also Los Cristianos is only a 10 minute taxi ride or 50 minute bus trip away

Our first inpression of the hotel was it looked very nice and well maintained. The rooms are a good size and are equiped with everything you need inc; fridge,cooker,TV,table etc.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite, especially at reception. There was a nice bar which did snacks but i wouldn't really advise eating at the hotel, as the food in town is much better.

The actual town of Golf del sur is quiet and has few restaurants and bars, if you're looking to get away for a relaxing holiday, like we were, then this is the place to come.

There was a town about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes in taxi called San Blas which had much more going on. There was some lovely restaurants and shops to see. I would deffinately recommend coming here of an evening.

We were in golf del sur only for 1 week, and had 1 nice nice day which was a little dissapointing, but we weren't too bothered really.

I would deffinately visit the Jungle park(the rep will give you details of how to book). It was amazing getting so close to all the animals, i especially liked seeing the lions and meercats. There's also two shows on, exotic birds and birds of prey, well worth a look!!

I would advise people NOT TO BOOK with VISION HOLIDAYS as we paid high prices under the knowledge that we would be flying out on Easter friday when in fact our flight wasn't until saturday morning. We ended up going to the airport 4 hours early due to incorrect times printed om our ticket. Also the flight over there was the worst either of us have ever experienced, it was a spanish (LTE) airline and the staff aboard were extremely unhelpful.

If you are going to tenerife and are looking for a nice hotel and resort i would deffinately suggest Green Park, but remember the place is most suitable for couples and families/ people wanting to relax.
