Well where do we start we were told by our booking agents that the hotel was very nice and we should have a great holiday.that was a joke, they should try it sometime,
No hot water at all, bed linen had not been ironed or changed all the time we were there,Patio windows were dirty, dining room had not been cleaned, dirty tablecloths were not changed for 5 days even when the staff were told.Pool was very rarly cleaned toilets by the pool had no working lights.Bar toilet lights 1}stayed on for 5 sec befor you were plunged into darkness the other stayed on for 12 sec this one had a window which was fine in the day time but not at night.
Food there wasn't much variety or imangination was servered up luke warm or cold, also there was not a wide choce of desserts when they ran out they were not replaced by some more.
Entertianment not much of that we had 2 nights out of 6 good job our friend had brought his DVD player it kept the kids in the hotel entertined as there was nothing for them to do.
We asked our Rep if we could be moved she found us somewhere else to go as we were there for 2weeks .so we were able to enjoy the rest of our holiday
After reading the other write ups on this Hotel the day before we were due to fly there, we tried everything to be moved elsewhere, in the end we ended up going with the option of moving on arrival if the Hotel was indeed that bad.

The Hotel is not what we expect of 4* accomodation, and the Med Hotel rep confirmed this to us when we spoke to here, it has been at one time, but now is more like a 2*, BUT, the Hotel was very clean, we experienced no dirty rooms, toilets, pool areas, eating areas etc., every morning we saw at lease 4 cleaners in the main recepton areas, and our rooms were cleaned/tidied each day, all staff were very helpfull, with most having very good english (particularly one girl on reception), although we admit there were only about 12 staff (excluding cleaning staff) over a week, but it was out of season. We had a problem with our air conditioning not working, but we were moved into another room the next day after informing reception. The food was 'ok' in general, but after 3 nights we ate out, as there are very reasonable Pizza/Indian and Chinese restaurants within walking distance.
Small Shopping area very close by with dozen or so small friendly friendly pubs mainly run by English people, supermaket, general tatt shops, Hire Car rental etc.
If your booked dont worry, its not Faulty Towers.

Still in shock after this nightmare of a holiday. This hotel was digusting, filthy and as for the food, absolutely awful.
On arrival we found out that a child had almost drowned that day in the pool only to be saved by his sister whilst others sat and watched offering no assistance, this was due to unsafe steps on entry to pool which lead to a six foot drop with no warning.
The room was filthy, handles falling off cupboards, shower had to be replaced as it kept falling off and soaking the bathroom and anyone unlucky enough to be in it.
Sockets were falling off the walls and as for the air conditioning, lost 2 nights sleep because of this due to the banging noise constantly coming from it and low and behold once it got fixed it flooded out the bedroom soaking all the clothes.
As for the entertainment, diabolical, snakes getting pulled out of a box at which point i was praying it would bite me to put me out of my misery.
Asked to get moved from this hotel but for some reason it never happened.
Worst hotel we have ever stayed in,wouldnt leave a pet in this place.

Where does one start. We booked this holiday at this resort because we had been to Tenerife twice before, both times at different locations.
The Tenerife Golf was advertised as being 4 Stars, but having had experience of other 4 Stars hotels this fell well short and i honestly think giving it 2 Stars would be being too generous to this hotel.
When we arrived the area around the swimming-pool was like a building site, the rooms were dated -the toilet was disgusting-it hadn't been cleaned and the overall cleanliness of the room was far from satisfactory.
We then went down to have dinner, again the standard of cleanliness left something to be desired- you had to rummage through the plates to find a clean one and the glasses were none better. As for the food itself well this can only be described as disgusting-we ate out for the rest of our holiday until we were shifted!!
Finally our nightly entertainment-nothing other than listening to the surf crashing onto the rocks below our room.
I should point out that we travelled with about forty other families and we all complained to the travel company who had us moved, after threats of exposing them to the Daily Record. This took five days, so our 14 day holiday was reduced to nine.
This holiday was advertised in the Daily Record as a 4* Hotel with day and evening entertainment and child prices up to 19 years of age! Lesson learned here - Do not always believe what you read in adverts!

We arrived at the Tenerife Golf and immediately started to panic. The place was like a ghost town. The Hotel was very shabby and run down. We entered our room to find two beds and a mattress! The bathroom was disgusting with enamel peeling off the bath, no hot water, toilet dirty. The patio windows were filthy and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for months.
The restaurant was filthy with water leaking from the air conditioning system on to the chairs and tables below. The cutlery/crockery was filthy and chipped. The food was terrible with very little choice.
The day and evening entertainment was non-existent whilst we were there although the Receptionist assured us it would be starting later on in the week - no good to us was it!
The pool area was very run down with broken tiles everywhere. Whilst we were there a piece of metal fell from the roof of the Hotel and hit someone on the head knocking him unconscious!
The Resort was quite nice but there is only one supermarket in the whole place and it was closed for refurbishment!
There are a few nice bars in the San Blas Commercial Centre but having to spend every night there for two weeks would have driven us crazy.
We complained and we were moved three days later along with several other families to a proper 4* in Playa de las Americas but we had three days of misery in this Hotel.
