A new promenade has recently been completed which has resulted in the bus service being changed and now it does not run around the west area of Las Americas. This means that if you want to go out, you have to climb the hill up to the bus station, from where you get a bus almost anywhere on the island. The free buses for the various parks, zoos etc do not run down to that area anymore either so you could feel a bit out on a limb. However, there are hundreds of restaurants etc along the seafront. The tourist office is on the seafront.

OverallExcellent Hotel

We have been staying at the PBC for about 6 years, always in November. It is currently being refurbished and this is nearing completion (2008). Sunbeds are always a problem but only with certain people. The only problem we encountered was that the breakfa...

"Excellent location for families/couples"

Absolutely love this area of Las Americas, very upmarket (but not stuck up). Lovely short walk to Los Cristianos and not far from Las Americas lively bars if you want them.

We love all parts of Playa De Las Americas when we came last year. Eating out is part of the attraction. This was again fantastic apart from when we ate "English" where we were abused when we compained when finding a snail in our food. I would recommend avoiding La Boca restaurant!! The new water park - Siam Park looked like a must. We also enjoyed Jungle Park - which was a suprise as we only booked it as part of a deal.

OverallVery Good Hotel

Green Golf Hotel is a wonderful oasis on the edge of Playa de las Americas, the staff and hotel are everything you could want. I would think it may become overcrowded in high season, at any other time I would recommend it highly. The weather is beautiful ...

Tenerife was a great place to go i booked it as a last minute get away and loved every minute. las Americas was briliant and theres plenty to see and do. I am not into the party scene so avoided the veronicas strip. However walking along the beach is wonderfull and the resteraunts served great food. Los cristianos market every sunday was great to. Hold onto personal effects as pick pockets are rife in the market area. I would reccomend Tenerife to all it is quieter in october and still boiling hot.
