Hotel Los Dragos Reviews

My wife & i have read many varied reviews about this hotel,but we found this hotel & the surrounding area exactly what we were looking for.The hotel rooms were large, clean & everything you needed was in it.We stayed on a self catering basis so we cannot comment on the food.The hotel pool is on the fourth floor with plenty of sunbeds & lovely views out to sea due to being just across the road from the sea shore with nothing in your way.Attached to the hotel is a supermarket for any essentials you require, & just around the corner, about 2 mins is an even bigger supermarket which has everything you would need.Right next to this supermarket is a bar called Images where many British ex pats hang out & all were very friendly & helpfull towards us .We had a lovely Christmas eve & christmas day in this bar well remommended. Playa de la Arena beach is a lovely 5 mins walk along the fairly level sea front road past many restaurants of every description.If you are looking for serious walks then Los Gigantes is about 20 mins walk in the opposite direction from the hotel & is not for the fient hearted as it is extremly hilly going the route along the road above the resort. But i am told it is a lot easier if you walk down a lot of steps & follow the prom around but the views are not as spectacular as they are from up above.We also never encountered any time share scratch card assasins at all which was a bonus.We were also told that this area is also much sunnier & warmer at this time of the year as its sheltered by mount Tiede from wind & cloud.All in all we had a lovely relaxed Christmas in a lovely area & would recommend it to anyone except people with young children,as they would not find a lot of interesting things for kids to do in this area.

aparthotel with good sized rooms and balconies, well serviced and located. No car park, but,not a problem as plenty spaces along avenue. Road busier than usual due to a subsided bridge or something on the main Rd. Traffic noise not a problem due to Rt-angle bends of coast Rd. EXCELLENT sea views on the front. rear overlooks the adequate pool. Plenty of restaurants handy. The pleasant walk to los Gigantes is Hilly (not for W/chairs]short cuts via steps. TITSA buses are regular and frequent.
