Bangkok is a very busy wonderfull city,The royal orchid sheraton hotel is situated on the river,it is easy to visit Bangkoks grand palace wat arun china town the royal barges and many other sights by using the river transport there are tourist river boats and local river boats we recommend that you use the local boats they get rather full but its anice experience to mix with the thai people who are very nice,tere is a river stop outside the hotel you can obtain boat times from the hotel desk we did all our river sightseeing this way and it was very cheap,you buy ticket for each place at the gate the grand palace does not allow people to visit in shorts vest t/shirts or sandalls.

China town was a wonderfull experience we walked through the streets the local community were doing their shopping you name it they sell it if yuo walk far enough you will come to the temple that houses the golden buddha well werth the walk.i almost forgot the hotel was superb.Hua Hin is were the Thai Royal family have there summer palaces the hilton hotel is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in we had an up graded room it was big enough to live in two large beds table chairs large tv dressing room bathroom sunken bath walk in shower it was superb the swimming pool is very large with lots of subed and shades available towel hire is free nice beach entertainment program avaiable by the pool lobby bar had good artists onevery night hotel as its own pub/disco hotel is very central,there are bars and restaurants out side across the road,
